Make Money on eHow!
56We all know that Hubpages is a great site to get involved in an online community, meet some interesting members, post about our favorite topics, and maybe (if we are lucky) make a few dollars on the side. I for one have loved being a part of such a diverse and friendly community. So if you like Hubpages, I have to insist you check out eHow.
I know many hubbers out there, like me, like to write how-to type of hubs: ones that outline specific steps to achieve whatever goal and throw in a few tips on how best to do it. I didn't think much of it until the site eHow was strongly recommended to me by a friend: it is a whole site devoted to creating a how-to database for almost any topic you can think of, and, pay people to write it.
Like Hubpages, eHow is a community based platform and has a simliar, easy to walk through, publishing wizard to help you create your articles (or how-tos). You meet people through a network of friends and have the same opportunity to create a profile and showcase your own work as well as point back to your blog or other articles just like here. The only big difference is that while at Hubpages you can write in any style you choose, at eHow they encourage you to stick to the step one, two, three format they have outlined in their wizard.
After you join the community, you will have the option to enroll in their writer's compenseation program, which pays writers through a simliar affiliate system like we have here at Hpages. However, instead of managing your affiliate relationships yourself and being responsible for them, eHow automatically places ads on your articles and gives you a profit of the impressions/ppc revenue that comes in from it.
The more how-tos you have, the more friends you have, the more money you are likely to make.
I wanted to recommend this site to all hubbers because, while it is so similar in shape and form to hubpages, you can have very active profiles on both of them without stepping on your own toes. They both have similarities, this is true, but they both encourage you to write and think in differnt ways, so this makes being a member of both a great way to work on your writing and presentation skills.
Check out eHow and see if the community appeals to you (I feel like it will), and to see some examples of the How-To articles that are done please feel free to check out my profile there.
