What Are Oreo Balls?

My fisrt experience with oreo balls was at a party and I honestly didn't want to try one because it just looked like a ball of chocolate.  But the host made them and so I thought I would to please her.  Wow! Once I ate one I immediately fell in love with them and couldn't stop.  It was like a moist oreo inside of that chocolate that goes on ice cream cones and hardens.

Best Part of Oreo Balls

The best part about making oreo balls is that there is not baking or cooking required.  All you need is a microwave to melt the outside coating of chocolate you will be using.  I am going to teach you the best way to make oreo balls and a way that other people don't use.  Warning! These are very rich and you may only be able to eat 1.  Let's take a look at what we will need to make these delicious balls or oreo.

Ingredients Needed

  1. A whole package of Oreos
  2. Almond bark. (This is what you melt in the microwave)
  3. Cream cheese frosting. (Not whipped)
  4. White almond bark if you want them to look fancy.

How to Make Oreo Balls

  • First you need to crush up all of the oreos into a fine powder.  Using a blender would be the best way to get them fine.
  • Then you will add the cream cheese frosting to the powdered oreos.  This is where you hands will get a bit messy.  It's just easier to get in there with your (washed) hands.
  • Now roll them into balls a little bit smaller than golf balls.
  • Chill all the balls for 20 minutes or until cold.
  • Melt the almond bark in the microwave.
  • Stick a toothpick in the balls to allow you to completely cover each ball in the melted chocolate.
  • The chocolate will harden almost instantly on the cold balls.
  • Once they are all covered in chocolate you can use the white almond bark to make fancy designs on them.
  • Enjoy rich yummy oreo balls.

Don't Keep the Weight On from Oreo Balls

I recommend that you make sure to only eat a few of these, or maybe just one.  Make sure you do a little extra cardio to lose the fat after you eat these delicious oreo balls.

They are some of the richest desserts I have ever had. I can only eat two but. I hope you enjoy them. Let me know how they turn out when you make them and if you have any suggestions on how to make them better.

Aren't they the best! I used to be able to eat a ton of them but now they are just a bit too sweet to have more than one.

I would recommend only eating one of those because they have so much fat, but they are really good so that's hard to do.
