How to Post Pictures On Twitter
77
During your everyday life, you may want to share pictures with those following you on Twitter. There are several different services to use to share the pictures you take with a cell phone. However, they all work the same way. As long as you can take and send pictures with your phone, you will be able to use any of those services to post pictures to your Twitter account.
In order to post pictures from your cell phone, you will have to sign up for a third party web site. Twitter itself cannot host pictures, but another web site can host them and send a link to your Twitter account to share with your follows. When you sign up for a web site, such as TwitPic or Twitxr, you use your Twitter username and password to sync the account. Once synced, you are given an e-mail address to use via text messaging to attach a picture and send to.
When you send the picture, the web site hosts it on their site under your account information and then sends a tweet to your Twitter account which is then shared with your followers. They click on the link, it takes them to your picture for them to view, comment or save. When you send the picture, most services allow you to send a message in the subject line of the test message as opposed to the text field. This subject shows up as the tweet with the link to the picture to give a description of what you are sharing.
Posting pictures on Twitter gives you another way to share what you are doing, what you are seeing and what you want others to experience when following you. Taking advantage of sharing pictures, no matter how you do it is something your followers will enjoy. If you have not started sharing what you see in life, what is stopping you from sharing your pictures and even videos with the Twitter world?
