There are several ways to promote your affiliate products that do not cost you much if very little. You can write blogs, articles and press releases. Join forums and put ads into the free classifieds. But first it is best if you create a domain name.

1 Creating a Domain Name.

An affiliate address is a give away when you use it for promotion. A lot of article, forum and blog sites will not let you use an affiliate address to advertise. Everyone knows that you are promoting other peoples products if you use these addresses and will often not even bother to click on the address.

Get a domain name and hide the affiliate address behind this name. The instructions will be on the site. The domain name will only cost a few dollars. You can then promote your products in a more professional looking manner.

2 Forums

Forums are online communities or groups who share information with each other. Once you have signed up for the forum you will find that there is a place to promote your domain name. When you start chatting to people in the forum find members who are talking about a topic connected to your product. Do not blatantly promote your product that is for the promotion box. Obviously if someone asks you if you know a good site they can look at which matches your topic you can give them your domain name.

3 Blogs

These are like mini websites. Many blog sites are free to join. Just look in the search engines.

Most of the sites have templates for setting up and good instructions. Promote your domain name on the blog. Again like the forums you can talk to the blog community.

4 Send out Press Releases.

Just put in free press release or press release into the search engines and you will come up with plenty of sites.

Read the guidelines of the site before you do anything else. Then you will know what that particular site will allow. Write a short item on the product and include your domain name. Make it sound exciting and catchy. You need to catch your potential customers eye.

5 Write Articles.

If you have written a blog you can elongate this to about 250 - 700 words.

Again go onto the sites guidelines. Many of the sites have traing on writing articles. It is a good idea to look at this training especially if you have not written much before.

Make sure you do not promote your product in the article. Very few publishers will accept articles that are self-promoting.

6 Classifieds.

Theses are a good way to promote your item. You can find plenty of free sites. Some of them are really good, some not so. Just have a look and see which ones suit you.

7 Opt-in lists.

These are lists of people who have opted to join a site which gives their names out to people who are promoting something.

You can email these people with information about your affiliate product or website. Again use your domain name. Make sure that all the lists you get are for double opt-in leads.

You can promote your affiliate products quite easily using these methods. Always use a different domain name for each item. It looks better. Once you get used to writing blogs and articles it will become a lot easier. There are sites that can write the articles for you though. Just remember to pick products you are interested in. You
