Why Would a Woman Propose to a Man
Relationship experts are saying that there is nothing wrong with a woman proposing marriage to a man. The relationship experts are saying that if she has found the love of her life, then it is her obligation to let him know that she wants to spend the rest of her life with him. "The moment has to be right," the relationships say and women will surely know when to ask the question. Sometimes the woman just gets tired of waiting for the man to ask or to pop the question.
The freedom of women and how they expressed themselves have evolved quickly since the 20th century. Now in the 21st century, women almost have an obligation to be assertive and ask for a man in marriage if the feelings of love are mutual. Of course, a woman should not ask for a man's hand in marriage if there are any doubts in her mind that the feeling is not being reciprocated.
The relationship experts say that the factors should be considered before proposing is no different than from a man proposing. She must make sure that the two are on the same page in the relationship and the love between the two of them have come to that level of marriage. What are the things he talks about? How does he feel about you? Do you know your man well enough to expect that the relationship will be lasting.
The video that is included answers questions about how to go about proposing to a man and is recommended as this information is coming from a man who is a relationship expert. The proposal can be rendered the say way with the question "Will you marry me." However, because of all of the culture surrounding the man getting on bended knees and asking the question, it is suggested that the woman remain standing. The betrothed will be honored and depending on the relationship, it is thought that the request will not be a surprise.
Some women just have that type of personality like if in the old cave man days she very well may have invented the wheel. Men do not always like the docile, shy type and are opening up to the confident women of today's world. Women are smart and will not ask if they are likely to get an answer of no. It is just like at the wedding when the priest ask if there are any objections to the wedding to please speak up. No one in recorded history has ever stopped a wedding. In the same confidence of not hearing a no for an answer, a woman should not hesitate to ask a man to marry her.
Some elaborate ways of women proposing has been in air diving expeditions and on an African Safari. You do not have to go to that extreme and can ask for your man's hand in marraige at the end of a dinner date. Other creative ways include dressing up for a Halloween party and having him dress as her and she dress as him. During the date, the woman can get on one knee in this scenario and ask for his hand in marriage. He may think that she is kidding until she tells him that she is serious and that her proposal is no joke.
The conversation more often than not has been geared towards that direction. The timing is probably right if the woman asks for the man in marriage and maybe just got tired of waiting for the man to ask for her hand in marriage. Your new husband as the video stated will probably be bragging for years to come and that is alright.
Women propose because they may be a take charge person and her soon to be husband likes that type of women. Strong women are no longer threatening to men as they are in all walks of life now. The woman however should consider how the man feels about her being assertive in the relationship. No one can answer that question except the two people in the relationship. Women just know when the man she is dating is the guy for her. Make sure that your man feels the same about you before you ask him to marry you.
It is up to the woman whether or not she produces a ring as most of the time the woman receive an engagement ring and the wedding ring at the wedding. The man on the other hand receives the wedding ring at the time of the wedding. The woman may present him with another piece of jewelry to symbolize her love for him. The choice is totally hers and if she is confident to ask her man to marry her then she is qualified to make the decision on what to do at the time of her proposal.

shinujohn2008, thank you for your kind comment.
Your hub also gives a man insight into how to accept the new way of engagement. It's good to see people still want to marry, I thought living together was the trend for a while.

rb11, again your comment is to my thinking as well.
I guess it would be nice to get proposed to while on a safari vacation if the groom to be would like a exciting setting. Thank you for your comment.
Enjoyed this new perspective on a culturally new wave. Thanks!
Dr. Nancy kenyon, thank you for your comment. I think that a few bold women have proposed before culturally correct. I think the assertiveness starts in high school when a young woman maybe needed a date for the prom.
