Simple Short and Sweet

  Your Baby is like all Children they LOVE their mothers! Even though you might not notice it they hang on your every word so if you Swear or lose your temper in front of him/her you are passing it along to your sweet baby.

To help your child's mind you don't need fancy programs or movies because replacing your part in your child growth isn't going to help you in the long run. Do you want you children sitting in front of the TV all the time or would you like your children to LOVE to read and spend more time listening.

All I do is bring my Sweetie along with me everywhere in the house and I talk to her as an adult as I do my chores. Now of course she didn't talk back at first but after awhile she did and not only did she talk back but she seemed to understand me and began repeating words I said a lot like :Unbelievable, silly, ridiculous. At 1 yr old using these words in the correct context. Maybe not fully understanding what they mean but in the correct context no less. And she wasn't the only one my older children started reapeating the same words.  You don't even have to use big words just teach Baby how to cook what your cooking speak to your baby as if they understand what your saying. It helps when you point at things when you say the names them so your baby know what your referring to.

I believe that a good listener as a child is the start to very successful development, I also read to her a lot she just cant get enough of her books. Not adult books i read her, her children's books. Her favorite books are her color books;  Yellow: the duck is yellow, the daisy is yellow.

This year was the First year she got to go to school. She got into Kamehameha pre-school which is a private school here in Hawaii. And she did excellent she came home almost everyday with something they taught her she now knows several Songs and Chants and a few cute dances all of her shapes and colors and letters. She also prays for the family before we all eat dinner.

Me personally I think that children just need attention instead of mommy on the phone, on the computer or watching TV. Learn a new recipe with you children find a new game.
