How to Read Websites on Mobile Phones? Start with Google
46Reading the web in mobile phones is not that easy, because many sites are not formatted to fit the mobile screen. Though many sites have both normal as well mobile versions, trying to find mobile versions of your favorite sites is a chore. You can bookmark your favorite mobile sites, but for others if you are unable to find it, then try the “Old Reliable” not the Jeeves, the Wodehouse character, but Google.
To browse websites, blogs in your mobile do the following:
Visit http://google.com/gwt/n --> type the website address --> http://hubpages.com --> Click “Go”. Google will convert the hubpages website to mobile version, so you can navigate and browse easily. Same way you can type your favorite blog address and it will create a mobile version of the blog. You can bookmark this link, so next time you will get the same results. Since many blogs have RSS address in it, click the orange icon RSS, Google will take you to its Google Reader automatically, where it converts the blog to mobile reading formats.
Browse websites via Google.
To search websites in mobile do the following:
Again like we saw in the above step, whenever we search the result we will receive pages that are not formatted for mobiles. To avoid that and to get a mobile version of your Google search results, first visit http://google.com/xhtml --> click the “Settings” under the Google search box --> “Format web pages for your phone” choose the “On” button. So now when you hit a search term, Google will give results and when you click one of those results it will format the web page for your mobile phone.
This technique should work in all mobile phones; I tried it at Palm it works fine. Please try it and post your comments whether it works or not.

Eileen it will be useful soon, in the near future almost all mobiles will have internet access. When we are away from the computer search and browsing in mobiles will help us find stuff.
