In this tutorial I am not going to say same thing which I already mentioned in “How to Setup Laptop Mobile Internet using Mobile Phone” tutorial. In this workshop you will need a Bluetooth dongle and supporting driver, mobile phone having modem facility and Bluetooth, mobile service providers which offer PC internet and a Laptop or Desktop. I have Nokia 3110 Classic phone which has modem and Bluetooth, Blue Soleil software which contains driver and software for connecting to internet. Reliance GSM SIM Card which is recharged with monthly unlimited PC internet pack.

First of all you need to install Blue Soleil software which contains driver and software. If you have Sony Ericson or Samsung mobile phone, don’t worry because Bluetooth internet setup can work with any Bluetooth enabled phone. Don’t connect Bluetooth dongle in USB, first of all you need to install driver. Restart your computer if prompted to do so.

When you are installing Bluetooth driver, you may get “Hardware Installation” alert, just press “Continue anyway” button.

Now connect Bluetooth dongle and let Windows install all needed driver automatically. Please close all programs before you continue. Now click on Bluetooth icon on the Desktop or on the System tray. If everything is OK then you will see PAN IP at the right bottom of the Blue Soleil Bluetooth software screen.

Turn on your mobile phone’s Bluetooth and click on orange color ball on Blue Soleil software. This will begin device search and will add found devices on its orbit. Its interface resembles to solar system.

Right click on your mobile phone model and click on “Pair Device”. It will prompt for “Passkey”, enter 0 (zero) as passkey and click OK. On mobile phone it will show “Connect with PC” option. Choose yes and enter password 0 (zero). Now your device is successfully paired with PC.

Again right click on your mobile phone model and click on “Refresh Services”. This will check and show the Bluetooth services (profiles) supported by your mobile phone. Supported services icon will become Yellow instead of White.

The telephone like icon (2nd icon from left) is for connecting to internet. Click on it and click OK or Yes button. Now a “Connect Bluetooth DUN Connection” window will appear. Leave username and password blank and in “Dial box” enter *99# and click “Yes” button. Click on “Dial” button, it will show you some series of information window and finally will connect.

It will show you “Bluetooth DUN Connection is now connected.” message. Congratulation! Now you can surf internet.
