How to Stay Strong

Why life is never lost or hopeless
Within each of us is a strength that we can draw from at any time. We hear stories all the time about those who thrive well beyond life’s limitations—those who have lost it all and lived to tell about it—because they believed that there is nothing about life that is lost or hopeless. The found access to the inner wisdom inside them.
Right now, many of us are facing tough times – but the inner spirit is unshakeable and eternal. Within each of us is a strength we may have forgotten, but it’s there to draw from at any time. Every day, people find that well of life and remind us. We hear stories about those who continue to soar on hope and thrive well beyond life’s limitations.
Millions of people have lost it all and lived to tell about it. Time and time again, individuals have turned loss around to let it prosper themselves and others. They are no different from you.
We're all resilient--we have it within us to thrive no matter where we have been. Can we dedicate our lives to turning our misfortunes into fortunes, accepting the best for ourselves? Yes. But we will need help.
With the help of spiritual teachers, books, coaches and counselors, there are new skills we can master just like we the skills we learned in order to speak, read and write. Athletes train and practice to accomplish their personal best. Professionals first have to study to be qualified to be able to do their job. Progressing in life requires being willing to learn, overcome, and clear obstacles. It means being willing to tune into that inner voice and use it as a guide.
How would your thoughts change if you assumed your current unhappiness or challenges were assignments that prepared you to meet your full potential? What if falling short ended up being the test that led to your best reward?
Are you at your lowest low? Before you make a major decision, fix your eyes ahead and reach out for a hand from someone wiser than you, letting yourself be lifted up until you feel strong enough to face what has been laid before you with a level head. Rest awhile and then get back up and get to work. Month by month, year by year, your inner strength and integrity will build. While you look at your unhappiness, always keep in view your highest potential. Believe in the opportunity of this pain to mold you.
You’ve come this far in life because you were willing to learn things. Keep learning! There's a cumulative value of doing little things with intention over time. When you are weary, take a look at where you are and who you are. Ask what weariness might have to teach you. Think of who may be trying to reach you and surround yourself with those influences and ideas that keep your hope alive. Find the good and walk in it.
This process will allow you to establish an air of victory in your life because of what you have overcome. That victorious nature will affect how others see you and treat you. Soon, your life will have become one of the stories about those who continue to soar on hope and thrive well beyond life’s limitations. You will have lost it all and lived to tell about it.
