What is micro-blogging?

Micro-blogging is a form of blogging that allows users to write brief text updates (200 words or less) and publish them, either to be viewed by anyone or by a restricted group which can be chosen by the user.

Twitterfeed - Twitter's RSS feeder

Actually you won't by syncing your micro-blogs directly to your twitter account because twitter doesn't have that service yet but there is a site that offers that type of service which is Twitterfeed.

Twitterfeed is not a part of Twitter but rather owned by a guy named Mario. It will feed any RSS feeds directly to your Twitter account. Twitterfeed uses the OpenID system when registering an account.

How do we do it?

1.) Click "Create new twitter feed".

2.) Enter your twitter username and password.

3.) Enter the yours Jaiku, Pownce and /or Plurk feeds on RSS Feed URL

4.) Optionally you can add an identifier name by putting Jaiku, Pownce or Plurk under the Prefix each tweet with:

5.) Click "Create"

Micro blogging is really a great way of promoting your contents..^^ I have to admit I'm a big fan of Twitter..eventhough the new site, Plurk is a bit promising..I still love the simplicity of Twitter..^^ and also its flaws..^^

Thanks for this. I found the sync a bit annoying in that it includes the username says.. username does.. I fixed this with a yahoo pipe: http://blog.sourceymonkey.com/post/46381909/plurk2
