How to Throw an Awesome Super Bowl Party

Every NFL fan loves watching the Super Bowl, even if their favorite team didn't make it. The Super Bowl is the culmination of the entire season and the last time you will see football until the fall. This year's Super Bowl is going to be ridiculously exciting...and possibly historic. You see, there has only ever been one team in the history of the NFL to have an undefeated season and win the Big Game. One team back in '72 (Miami Dolphins). If the Patriots win, it will only be the second time in NFL history a team has gone undefeated all season and post-season. Awesome!

So, on such a big game day, you want to throw a fun Super Bowl party. Obviously, you need lots of food and drink. You can go with the classic hot wings, pretzels and chips paired with soda or beer. You can't go wrong with that. Some people take it a step further and get party platters made. These platters usually have either hoagies, sandwiches, appetizers or dips nicely displayed and ready to eat. If you have beer at your party, I highly advise you to have plenty of food for people to eat.

Deck Out Your Home in Team Colors

If you want to go all out, you can find decorations in your favorite team's colors and logos. I like getting as much NFL team merchandise as possible, because my friends love it and my husband loves it even more. It is best to get party supplies with your team logo. It really brings more team spirit and fun to the party. You can also find really cool novelty NFL party supplies, like team logo snack helmets. The top of the helmet comes off to hold chips or pretzels and the facemask holds dip or candy. I've gotten so many jealous comments about mine.

The most important aspect of throwing a Super Bowl party is to have passion for the game. Get your friends into the action, if they aren't already excited. How can you not be excited?!? This Super Bowl is going to rule, so everyone's parties should be great and full of energy and fun. Let's go Patriots and Giants! I want to see a great game!
