Before we talk about how to treat Russian women we should clarify first why Russian and Ukrainian Women are so special and popular. Is it because they are known as very beautiful women in the world? Is it because they are stalkers for foreign men? Or are they dangerous and treacherous ones? All mentioned above is partly true. To be exact it's 10% true. Actually, let me reveal the real side of common Russian woman as I am one of them.

Our culture has palyed significant part in our rusian mentality formation. Soviet times also left their footprints upon Russian woman nature. We could talk much about history influence upon our tempers, ways of thinking and so on but it may lead us away from the main topic.

Rusian and Ukrainian women are tender, kind, patient, caring and loving. Despite they are very smart and intelligent they are very naive and can be easily deceived or even cheated. "Russian soul" is widely open and sincere. As a rule Russian women are excellent wives. Russian breeding is focused on accurate allocation for women's and men's duties. Women should be good mothers, excellent housewives first. Men should provide their families financially. Though nowadays women are striving for their own professional career as well and being fulfilled in other aspects of social life. Nevertheless in our mind we bear family values which are more important then career and other activities. Sometimes such way of thinking makes Russian women pay the price, supporting their husbands and sacrificing their own success in the sake of their husband’s. Russian and Ukrainin women are very sacrificial and selfless. In many cases Russian men start misusing it. But if Russian lady is 100% loved and she is confident about it she will give herself 200%. So, it's the way we are :)

There are online dating agencies publishing stories and dating articles on their sites. But the information about Russian women is very twisted and false. Therefore men's perception of Russian women is completely wrong. Such agencies invent false images of Russian women to attract more men registering on their sites and buy membership. Unfortunately because of that, misguided men treat Russian women the wrong way. Thus much of misunderstanding comes up.

Twisted notion about Russian women as many dating sites present is that she is absolutely young, beautiful, undemanding and dreaming only about the man who is much older than she is. According to that statement, men can easily find a young and beautiful Russian woman who will be very obedient and patient to any abuse due to the fact that she wants to get our of her country. If you ask whether Russian women are demanding or not, my answer is yes and no. Yes - because they have their own needs to be supplied. No- because most of Russian women are patient and enduring. They are so understandable and self-giving, concentrated more on making others needs. Women from Russia and Ukraine live in tough conditions because of low social level of the countries they live in. If you call a woman from Russia strong like a rock you won't be mistaken as these women get used to deal with the difficulties and daily problems to survive in a hard time of economy downturn. It's not something ridiculous when you see that Russian women solve all issues in place of men. Along with being strong, enduring and patient, Russian women are very tender and fragile. They do need real man's support and defense. From a man, they expect man's support, maintenance and leadership who takes his main responsibilities in a family life.

The distinguishing feature about Russian women is they are not ardent feminists. They are women in every inch. When they get dressed they dress for men exclusively. They wear beautiful clothes and well-groomed coiffure (hair-style) to make men like them and attract their attention. So, use this chance to make compliments. Women from Russia and Ukraine do love it. But don't overdo it. Or else women will think you are not sincere or just flatter them.

The psychology of Russian women differs from psychology of women from other counties. Russian women are very open and not reserved. If they date or live with a man they consider their lives tightly run into. They don't cut themselves from problems of their man. They take an active part in solving his issues and sharing his life activities. Likewise, they can't understand when a man doesn't take interest in their daily activities. Russian women do want to share their feelings, emotions, experiences with the men they live with. If the man considers interfering into the woman's life to be something 'very private' or indecent, he is mistaken as Russian women interpret it as his indifferent attitude towards her. Be all ears when she speaks, listen to her very carefully. Let her know you understand her, you are with her and always ready to support and help. Women will appreciate it.

Russian woman are family-oriented. They cultivate family values and pay attention to men's attitude towards it. Their men must love kids, must make money and help about the house. Yes, I did mention this. It's not because she is lazy or bad housewife. She can do all by herself. She just wants her man's attention and his being near to share her life "in the kitchen" too.

Be kind and loving to her kids if she has them. You can give 1000 presents and say beautiful words to the Russian bride but if you don't care about her kids she doesn't care about you. It's true that women with kids also look for a good father for her children. You never win her heart unless you make a road to her kids.

Many Russian women live in hard living conditions they need a strong man by their side. I don't claim you should be a super-man to solve all her problems. You don’t, just be near your beloved woman and comfort her first. Russian and Ukrainian women want to have a man with a sound sense of humor. Remember this! Tell jokes, but don't say vulgar and stupid jokes to make your woman laugh. Be neat with your funny stories not to offend your love. Merry and smiley man with a sense of humor attracts Russian woman.

Russian women love gentlemen. They love men who are generous and don't count spent money in their presence. It doesn't mean you must be a money waster. It also pricks up her ears. But never make a mistake of counting your money you have. You will make her feel uncomfortable and also when you always talk about money issue. She will consider you being mercantile. Be generous enough to make her feel you take care about her and that she means more than money to you.

One more thing - take initiative. Make your woman feel you think about her leisure. Be first to organize an event that you both like; going out for a walk, to the restaurant, etc. Give her pleasant surprises. Make an entertainment for her. Be her close friend all the time.

It's not a secret that relationships are very tenuous in the beginning. It's very easy to break them if you are not cautious. Therefore you should stick to certain rules and maxims of law to build firm relationships with Russian women that would lead to happy marriage life.

Russian women must be sure and confident that their men love them more than their favorite TV -show. Do your very best to give her more attention and prove to your woman that she matters.
2. Give her pleasant surprises. It will enhance your relationship. You want to make her small gifts which are not about money but more about your care and attention. Give her your heart manifested in chocolate-bars or flowers. You shouldn't wait for a particular reason to do this. Express your love giving and caring, not hiding from others the fact that you treat your lady well.

3. Show your respect. Always be polite and well-mannered. Real women dislike men being rude and ill-bred. If, in your first, date you make an “oops: by showing her your bad manners, forget about meeting her again. There are important things you should do as it concerns Russian culture. Don't forget about using nice words like "please", "I am sorry", "I promise" and "thank you". You must remember that it is customary for Russian people to open the door and let the woman enter first. Or stretch out your hand and help her out of the car. Such signs please Russian woman.
4. Compliment her on all things she does for you; Even if she didn't manage to do it properly, she tried. Encourage her and admire her; you will get your reward for this. She will do all her best to give you pleasure. Look the woman straight in the eye when giving compliments. Do it from your heart. And do not regret you made women feel so good.
5. Remember significant days for her like her birthday, your engagement anniversary, Valentines Day and so on. But don't forget about giving her care every day. You must care every day.
6. Be a good and attentive listener. Listen patiently to her thoughts and opinions. Don't interrupt her, especially when she is very emotional. Wait until she speaks out and never make fun about her if she is serious. Then you can propose her possible ideas or advices and share your own point of view.
7. Many women love when men touch them. It can be a casual touch but made intentionally. Make her feel your tenderness and attention. Touch her hand when you walk together. Or stroke her hair.
There is so much to say. I can make this list longer but I will stop here by summarizing that:

Don’ts:
1. Never make fun or tell sarcastic jokes to your Russian lady.
2. Don't be rude and vulgar. Vulgar words insult Russian woman.
3. Keep your clothes and body clean. Don't make her feel uncomfortable even if you are satisfied with your appearance.
4. Many Russian women feel hurt when you are gazing around at other beautiful women. It's not bad to look and admire other beauties but remember it's very painful when your head is spinning around. She should feel as she is the only one for you. Just be outwardly restrained, at least in her presence.
5. Don't talk so much. It's in the female nature to be very talkative :) Women don't like when men always talk and forget to hand over the word to a woman.
6. Don't be focused on your personality only. You are to share your events, opinions and achievements. But sometimes men think only his world matters and women must apply it to hers :)
7. Don't leave woman alone with her housework. Well, first of all - don't think that it's only woman's business to do all work around the house. You shouldn't make her feel unequal.
8. Don't belittle her or insult her. If you do it - forget about her passionate desire to have any sex with you.
9. Don't make promises you can’t keep. Next time she will hardly believe you...
Of course, all mentioned-above is my own experience and observations. I don't state the fact that it always happens like this. All women are different and there should be a personal approach to the woman of your dream. But the psychology of Russian woman is like what I have mentioned.
