So, when you see television commercials and the subtle commercials during newscasts you're watching the result of the television station's own in-house market research.

Okay, now you think I'm crazy to write a hub suggesting you get your niche marketing ideas from TV. But, let me explain how I came up with this bizarre idea. A few months back I was watching a news channel. They did a very brief segment on a particular item that had just come out. So, using Wordpress and the wonderful Phpbay Pro plugin I banged out a quick site. Within 36 hours I made about $500 dollars.

Chances are other affiliates have made sites on the product and your chances of getting on the first page of Google, Yahoo and even MSN will be very low.

Buy your domain name and bang out your site.

This is another one of my favorites. Often in talk shows you'll see that they have "product giveaways" where the talk show host offers products to the show's guests and audience. Again, the talk show and the television station network has done it's homework on consumer trends. Go on eBay and Amazon and see if the products appear there. And again, do you Google search competition check. If everything checks out unplug your phone, lock your doors and bang out your site! The money should start coming in the next day!
