There is a very long gap between passing Pre University (PU) exams, getting admission into Engineering College. My mind was rest to peace when my elder daughter started attending engineering classes - at last - after having spent almost four months at home!

Unlike my young one, my elder daughter is not fond of books. But her professor had given her a long list of books to be read before completing her 5-years college life! Now I am worried a lot! Books are already scattered by my other daughter and my husband all across the house. Arranging them is one of my daily chores. Adding to that will be addition of my elder one's books! But thankfully, it is only a few books the professor has recommended.

One of the books that she bought first is titled "How to Win Friends and Influence People?" by Dale Carnegie. I run through a few pages of the books. OMG! It was first published in 1937! I am sure my daughter won't be interested in that book. Being fond of loud music, watching MTV and V music channels, browsing only Bangalore Times pages of Time of India, I don't think she will even read and go past the first chapter of the book.
