Going further with our week it's all thing's SEO. This morning we're talking about the vital importance of BLOGS and Blogging within the internet world.

Blogs are becoming more and more important. If you haven't posted a blog or if your company doesn't yet have a blog you may want to find one and experiment with it. Blogs are usually topic driven and are an interactive way for the person authoring the blog (the blogger) to interact with the web visitor. So discover the blog, and read the article, (um) and usually comment, a lot of times the responses have to wait for review before they're posted, but sometimes your comment is added asap without moderation!

The big deal about blogs is that the search engines, such as Google and MSN simply love blogs for the content, and in some cases the serps will cache or index the blogs pretty much immediately or within a few hours and the blog author and comment person may benefit from immediate traffic.

In fact, a few days ago I was commenting on a blog site (a history site which is not even topically related to Lets Go Banners Sign and Banner Company)but I was just making some comments and they requested my web address so I responded and ended up getting a great link back to our website www.letsgobanners.com from a very high page rank site.

You know, if you're participating on a blog or forum topically related to your site, all the better.

And if you're not currently the owner of a lost blog, simply install a FREE Wordpress blog on your site (many hosting companies like Godaddy have the simple install plug ins on their sites, it's very easy!)
