Enhancing Your Immunity without Gimmicks

Boosting your immunity to disease and illness is a multi-faceted issue. There are a number of factors that directly and indirectly effect your body's immune system.

The first is diet. Are you eating foods that are conducive to a healthy immune system? If you eat nothing but junk food, greasy food, or foods high in preservatives, then your immune system will suffer, not to mention your digestive tract. Eat more natural foods, drink enough water, and stay away from too much sugar. By extension, clean your body out. The more waste that builds up within your body, it takes that much more for your immunue system to fight it, thus making it more vulnerable to an outside illness.

Once you have evaluated your diet, do you exercise enough? Your immune system is tied into physical activity. The more you exercise, up to a point, the more likely you will prevent illness or prevent one from becoming a real problem.

Another factor is stress. If you are always stressed out, tense, or anxious this will take a toll on your immune system. Find some constructive outlets for stress relief. Chances are you will find yourself becoming less ill.

I also have to say a healthy sex life is good for the immune system. Aside, from the physical activity, there are certain body changes that occur that are beneficial to the immune system.

Finally, make sure you are getting a healthy dose of vitamins, particularly "C", along with anti-oxidants. These are essential building blocks for immune development. They also have beneficial attributes for other bodily functions.

Well, at least you did not need to buy a book or a gimmick?
