The thought of home always brings calmness and serenity in the mind of the majority of the people. Importance of home will be understood if we leave it for temporary basis for attending schools, colleges, work or for the military. Once we get the feeling that we are missing the home, we will try our level best to get in touch with home at the earliest. It is described by many as a fortress which gives helps us in our moments of solitude.

On returning home after a certain period, we will notice the changes which has undergone to the surrounding areas in our absence. Seeing the familiar roads, buildings, trees and schools we get to have a fantastic trip down the lane. We may even find that our bedroom to be converted into the guestroom, but the guests who stay in there might be having no idea about the experiences which the room held for the original occupier.

The smiling faces of the parents that you get to see every time you enter the house cannot be simply penned down in this article. Many things might have changed in course of due time but they still sit and talk for hours at the same places which you have been ever noticing since childhood. Even you will be missing the homely food and the snacks prepared by the mother.

Even when the parents move off to a newer house, they will ensure that it has striking similarities with their old place. They will try to furnish and decorate the house like the way they always used to do. It is something like we can predict what their next movements are going to be. Some of us are unfortunate to have lost our parents due to old age, but still the word home brings forth a silent happiness and unfelt presence which can never be experienced elsewhere.

Sleeping has always been a bit of a problem for me, I think mainly because I work late and have trouble winding down before getting to bed. I'll take a look and see if I can find some useful tips.
