Replace DLP Lamp For Under $150

Why pay over $300 to replace entire lamp housing unit when you can change the lamp inside it in 10 minutes for under $150?? Order the lamp without the housing unit from any online site by searching "Buy mitsubishi Dlp replacement lamp (model Number)"

This guide is for replacing Mitsubishi DLP lamps with these models:

- WD-52631
- WD-57731
- WD-57732
- WD-65731
- WD-65732
- WD-y57
- WD-y65

Step 1: Unplug TV and locate lamp housing unit on the back of your Tv ( If you have trouble locating it check your user manual).

Step 2: Unscrew the two screws on the unit and remove gently. The two plastic tabs need to be pushed down on each side of the housing unit to allow the housing to pull apart . Remove the lamp by first removing the two screws that hold the lamp connector to the housing. The four metal tabs with screws holding the lamp in place need to be removed. The lamp can now be seperated from the housing.Look how the lamp is positioned in the housing and put the replacement in the same exact way.

Step 3: Replace the four metal tabs and screws to hold the lamp in place. Reinstall the lamp connector by placing the lamp in the previous place and fasten it with the two washers and screws. The post on the top of the lamp is very fragile so be careful. MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN THE NUT ON THE POST.

Step 4: Put the housing unit back together and reinstall into the back of your Tv and Voila! You just saved $150 in ten minutes.
