Bass guitar 4 strings

bass guitar 6 strings

The electric bass has been major developments in recent years. Long "limited" to 4 strings (corresponding to 4 strings of the guitar: Mi-La-Re-Sol), the instrument has been declined by the manufacturers in versions 5 and 6 strings to meet the increasing virtuosity of bassist . Electronics has also evolved with the emergence of active preamps that allow extremely varied settings of the sound. In short, the bassist of today has never been available to offer as broad and qualitative.

Here are some simple tips and helpful in choosing:

* Remember that once more, we recommend you take the bass in hand, even if you are totally beginner. If you can, try it standing up (making you pay a strap by the seller). The bass is an instrument that is played in groups ... and therefore most often standing!

* Even if the lower 5 and 6-string you try, do not burn the steps! The 4-string bass is more than enough to learn the basics and many professional bass players remain loyal to their 4-string fetish, irreplaceable for many styles.

* Low active give you more opportunities to adjust the sound. It's time to enjoy it because the offer was diversified and "democratized" as evidenced by the Storm model PGB600 and PGB700.

* As the electric guitar, bass does not work without amp. To start in good conditions, we offer a selection of 3 packs low-amplifiers that are excellent value for money.
