Great method on how to cure anxiety

Anxiety and panic affects everyone at some point. Some people are not bothered by it but for others it can completely take over. Since suffering for so long with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) I came to dread going out for a meal or going to someones house in case I had a bad attack. What if they cooked something that my irritated my bowel? What if I have to go to the loo loads of times? What if my stomach makes really awful noises? What if I have to lie down because of the pain? The questions just wouldn't stop and in the end I would be in such a state I would decide not to go as I was already feeling ill. Does this sound familiar?

Well I started an elimination diet (still in the process of it) and am learning the foods I can and can't tolerate. Having confidence in the food I'm eating has been a great help in calming my anxiety. However there are still occasions when out of the blue I end up eating something bad for me and have to dash off to the loo. I decided I really needed to learn how to deal with the anxiety this causes as it had turned into a real fear.

I came across a totally natural technique teaching ways of dealing with anxiety and panic. It deals with all sorts - how to deal with public speaking, social phobias, work meetings, interviews, general anxiety, panic attacks and more. At first I just signed up to the newsletter which was for free and practised the tips they mentioned. Before long I bought the complete course! Read my full story here.

Here is what works for me.

I find that yoga really helps me relax both my mind and body. The breathing exercises can be used at anytime - in the car, out shopping - and help bring my heartbeat down to a normal level.

Relaxing music is also great - if you spend just 10 minutes a day chilling out listening to music you'll soon feel the benefits.

Doing exercise is an easy way to relax and let off steam. It doesn't need to be strenuous just walking the dog does wonders.

Then there are mental exercises which keep my thoughts in check.

My 3 tips to stop anxiety.

Learn to relax - I find yoga is great.

Exercise daily - just walking the dog will do!

Everyone should enjoy life and start living!
