what if you get scabs where the warts used to be? Do you continue to apply the apple cider vinegar?
How long will the ACV sting for? This is my third out break and I'm so swollen I can hardly go pee with out crying from the pain. If ACV works I'll try it. I have been appying Tea Tree oil to the area, it doesn't seem to be working. HELP PLEASE
Most those who tried apple cider vinegar on genital warts report that it stings during the first night and that during the following nights the stinging becomes bearable. And that after a couple of treatments you feel no stinging at all.

This is through my own experience. For men only, sorry ladies. Apple Cider Vinegar will still work for you but the following description for application only work if you have a penis. And this is only for infection on the shaft and head, not the scrotum. I found that garlic is extremely painful and really just destroys the skin so you're not treating the wart per se, you're just destroying the skin that its occupying. After months and months of research and painful trial and error I discovered Apple Cider Vinegar. Applying it with a cotton swab won't be enough so I came up with a way to leave it on for hours at a time and still go about your day. You'll need to cut strips of paper towel thick enough for you to wrap your penis a couple times. Also a strip of plastic wrap about the same size. Soak the paper towel in the vinegar and squeeze off excess. Now wrap this around your shaft and head making sure to cover all infected areas. Now wrap that with the plastic wrap. This will prevent it from soaking into your underwear or pants. This should be kept on for at least 2-3 hours. When you remove the wrap you should see that all the warts have turned white. Wipe down your penis with a wet paper towel and dry it off. The skin will be slightly sensitive after a couple hours of wrap so don't mess with it. This should be done every day until all the warts scab up. Once they start scabbing up you should continue to do the wrap for just a few more days. Now stop wrapping apply vitamin E oil to the scabs everyday to help them heal and wait for the scabs to fall off. DON"T PEEL THE SCABS!! When your penis is scab free you should repeat the whole process over. One cycle will take you about three weeks. I know it's a long process but its worth it to be wart free. The reason I say to repeat this is because some of the warts are so small you won't even see them. A table spoon of Apple Cider Vinegar with a glass of hot water every morning won't hurt either. The vinegar is known for its virus fighting properties. Try not to masturbate because the skin will be sensitive from the vinegar. If you do, make sure you clean up immediately to make sure you don't spread more of the infection on yourself. Eat well, exercise, and you will be healthy before you know it. Good Luck!

I've had HPV for about 4 years & only had 2 outbreaks. I tried everything under the sun while trying to avoid the acid treatment & the condylox stuff. It worked for me but that stuff is not only expensive but doesn't really prevent future outbreaks. From what I read on forums & such, ACV has some anti-viral properties or at least boosts ur immune system a bit to fight off viral infections which is what HPV is.
I'm going to try the ACV natural treatment since I've been hearing only good things about it. Thank you guys for sharing!

doing the treatment, seems to be working it turned black with scab. but i want the black scab to be off! i cant have sex because i dont want my guy to see this weird melonoma looking thing down there. im not gonna pick it off or anything but should i keep putting on the vinegar or something else to make it fall off? thanksss

I was skeptical, doubtful, and not too sure about undergoing this process (at first) . . . but I tried it (out of desperation/not wanting to go to a clinic) and it actually worked. The warts did scab up (or get black) as some of the other comments say, but if you don't mess with them and leave 'em be, they will go away! I was perplexed, yet grateful!
OK. I'm confused a little. I think I just have warts or moles because I've noticed something weird down there and it started in '06 and it was a small mole that protruded a little. I was deployed for about 8 months and I had no sexual contact. I was married and my wife at the time was the last person I was with at the time. We had a child, nobody had HPV but I've noticed over the years since, it's gotten a little bigger. It's noticeable. Last year, two more popped up. I got tested while these where small and I still didn't have HPV. They look just like (3) small genital warts but that's not it. WTF is this. can u keep it on longer than 8 hours at a time if your able to handle the stinging or will it hurt my skin at all i just started using it today with the cotton balls and acv. i have used it before with just dabbing it on a qtip but havent tried the overnight thing it does turn them white pretty fast i also noticed that where i put it on one that there were some other white spots around it but they were not noticeable before can someone give me some advice
After 19 years together with my partner, I stupidly played away a couple of times and a few months later one of these little bast**ds appeared on the end of my penis just under the foreskin. Fortunately (or unfortunately depending on your viewpoint), my partner and I no longer have intimate sexual contact, so no risk of passing it on. I went to the clinic and they froze it - within a couple of days the thing turned black and fell off, but took ages to heal as the freezing damaged the skin around it quite badly.
Then 2-3 weeks later it returned, not very keen to back to the clinic I search the net and discovered other sufferers experience of ACV so gave it a go. I used the rolled up ball of cotton wool method - left on overnight. It went white and then greyish yellow after a coulple of days... then on the third day fell off in the shower. I cleaned up with Hydrogen Peroxide and it took another 2-3 days for the little crater to heal up. I was fine for a couple of weeks and it came back again!!! Same treatment with ACV and it was gone again... but now it's just re-occurring every couple of weeks ... I really worried that I'm going to be having to do this ritual treatment for the rest of my life!?!?!?
Has anyone had a re-occuring wart like this? Should I be continuing to use ACV after the wart has come off to clear the skin completely? I am also using a Vitamin A cream, taking High strength garlic everyday, doing more exercise, and given up smoking. Anything else I can try?

apple cider vinegar works amazing wonders, i was very skeptical cause i have heard a lot of mixed reviews but it basically the acidity burns right through the warts turning them white then black and they shrink and come right off.
Make sure it has at least 5% acidity and also Braggs is the best brand to get.

Amazing. Thanks for all this info. It really does work! I used plain old, regular ACV from the store, not the raw, unfiltered stuff. Soaked a cotton ball in it, and left in on varying from a few hours, to overnight, for about 3-4 days in a raw. I stopped when the skin and area became too red and raw (and yes, somewhat painful, but tolerable) to continue. I was going to continue treatment after skin became less irritated, but there was no need--the warts were completely gone then, and haven't returned. Treatment was about five months ago.
Worked good just be careful not to burn the skin away. If it burns really bad stop the treatment and let the skin heal.

Alright, so whoever is on this site, im sure is not here for Fun. Im dealing with the same problem as all you guys and girls. I cant tell if these sites are fake, or if these experiences are real. So im just letting you guys know that I am 100% serious here, and real, and will tell you EXACTLY if this works or not. I started this apple cider vinegar stuff last night. IT WORKS. I Pinky promise, and swear to god. Does exactly what others have said. Its takes around 3 days, and they will Turn Black, and become flat, with a scab on the skin. The scab will flake away slowly. Pain is bearable, more tingling than burning, although it does feel kind of sore on the softer, more tender areas. I've found what looks to be a genital wart half way up my penis. I also have 3 at the bottom of the shaft. I'm not 100% certain it is genital warts but it does look like the pictures I've seen online. The reason I question they aren't genital warts is I haven't had unprotected sex for 11 months. Although it can still be possible to develop them years after coming contact...apparently.

Okay so i am a young woman in her 20's that have had the same sex partner for years. Obviously he was cheating on me or already had hpv and never told me but now i have hpv. I found out about 3 years ago but never had an outbreak so i figured the doctor was lying. But recently i've been under a lot of stress and havent been taking care of my body and from what ive read this will lead to an outbreak.

Okay so its day 2 and I think its really working. I did it twice yesterday and this morning when I woke up I took a shower, then poured ACV on some tissue that I folded neatly to cover the warts (I didnt have any cotton balls) and used surgical tape to hold it in place. It still burned me even though it is day 2. I ran some errands and went to the store and bought some cotton balls, multi-vitamin pills, tea tree oil and a new bottle of ACV that I will drink. So I have two bottles of ACV one to put down under and one to drink.
I just went to the bathroom two minutes ago to remove the tissue, and to my surprise two of the warts came off in the tissue. I grabbed a mirror to look at it and the ones that are left have turned a white-greyish color, and from what everyone say I guess its working! It feels sore down there so I just put some Neosporine on it and the burning has stopped. But I'm excited about the 2 falling off so soon, wow! I will continue to keep everyone updated.
I read on another website that someone drank ACV everyday in a bottle of water and it helped her heal even faster and she has not had the warts return since. She said she still drink the ACV in her bottle of water every day even though she dont see any warts and she went back to her doctor and they said that her HPV was gone. hello again its day 3. Most people say they were cured by day 3 some say it takes a few weeks, I guess it depends on how many warts you have and how sever it is.
Well for me I would say they are about 40% gone. I took a shower this morning and some that were in a cluster turned black and came right off in my rag. I use a seperate was cloth thats soft to gentle wash the area. And alot came off in the rag. As you can tell I had a lot of warts and it seemed that even some that I couldnt even tell was there came off. I am so excited. I had some that are stubburn but they have shrunk.
I had 4 near my anus and they have turned white/grey, except for 1 that came off in the shower now I have 3. Hopefully they will fall off within the next couple of days as well.
Okay last night I put some green tea down under. And ladies dont EVER try this. I dont know if I was allergic to it, but I never burned like that in all my life. I jumped in the tub filled with water and poured some ice in the the tub. I had to take some pain killers to calm it down.

Back again guys. Its been over a week now, (almost 2 i think) since i read these articles and tried it for myself. I found out i had a bout 15 of these little bastards. 13 of them are absolutely gone, and healed. The 2 largest ones, were in the toughest spots to treat, but they are about 1/4 the size they were. I took a couple days off, and now im going in for WWII. The ones on the shaft were the Easiest/fastest to take care of, only about 2 days. The scabbed up, and healed as if it was a little cut or something. This ACV treatment really does work you guys. I wouldnt take the time to write this if it werent true. I figured id pay it forward, as the others before me have. I would soak the end of a Qtip, bandaid it on, then use tape over the bandaid to hold it in place better. I did this for a few hours during the day, and all night for 3 or 4 days. Please give it a try, u dont even know the relief i feel right now. It took me 2 years to get this crap off me, and ACV is only thing that worked for me.
Okay all its day 4. I have been drinking the ACV in a half bottle of water each day and also been applying the ACV on cotton balls and been putting them on the warts. I'm glad to say the ones near my anus are almost gone. I now only have 2 warts and the 2 that are left have shrunk in size. I'm so happy!
The ones in my downtown have mostly fallen off except for 4 difficult ones. And since drinking ACV I notice that there was a few on the mouth of my downtown. They have turned white. I have also started putting the cotton ball ACV on them as well. The good thing about drinking ACV is you will find hidden warts.

I have been looking for a treatment for so long. I have had the warts for a while now and haven't been able to find a good treatment. I am so glad I found this site, I was too embarrased to go to the dr. thus far. I am now too a believer, I can feel it burn and I don't mind it at all, I want to get rid of these by any means. One already fell off and the other ones are dying. The pain is bearable. I would suggest this remedy to anyone suffering from this. Its a terrible thing to have but hey we have to live with it once its caught. I was sceptical, as probably a lot of you were/are....well all I can say is ACV works! I've been to the doctor I've had warts burned off...sure they go away but a) there is some pain and b)there is the embarrassment of it all and c) it takes up to two weeks or more for it to fall off and heal, quite often with a nice scar that you will probably have to explain. Using ACV I'm wart free after only 2 days, with little to no pain!
All I did was I pulled the end of a Qtip off, soaked it in ACV, then placed the tip on a wart and used a band-aid to secure it in place and repeated till all warts were covered. I did this every night before going to bed. In the morning I'd remove the band-aid, shower, then put a new ACV soaked tip on. After the first day of this the warts were black, after the second day they had come off in the shower. Once off I used polysporin to speed the healing. By the 5th day my skin was healed and completely wart free! I've also been drinking ACV and will continue taking it everyday from now on. This honestly works, as someone else said I would not waste my time writing this out if it weren't true. So give it a try you have nothing to lose except your warts!
I used ACV and the smallest or rather newest wart came off after having ACV on for 24 hours! the older bigger warts are still intact though but the smaller ones are falling off slowly, bigger ones turned gray and a small black spots... question is ... Do i still apply ACV until all of em fall off ? Should I start drinking it too? the old warts are just 2months old i think.

No answer to my question I will try acv for the last time tonight to see if there would be more black spots on the shaft... last night they just turned white and moist cleaning it with cotton some pieces of the wart sheds off without forcicng them after this i will try to stop and let the wounds heal and see if i need to use acv more to completely soften the warts. Small ones are gone the bigger ones have reduced in size by approx 80% but i want all of it to disappear!

Thats pretty much what happened to me, i just kept applying the ACV, and more an more it turned white, then great, then blackish, then scabbed up and fell off. It took like 4 or 5 days for the bigger ones, and i used the hell out of the ACV. I had that shit strapped to me like 15 hours a day.

HPV raised its ugly head(s) and now I have to contend with warts in the nether region which probly wont go unless I stop taking my immune suppressant and I have had only one partner in a very long time. Yes it really does work ... after another day or night rather of acv applied before sleeping ... small ones are completely gone and wounds starting to heal ... the biggers ones are about 95% smaller ... left a huge wound though so im thinking it would heal in about a week or so ... the 5% of that bigger cluster of warts are black now! Im skipping acv tonight and see if they fall off tom when I shower and clean up ... hopefully it does ACV smells really funky! and it stings coz of those wounds where the warts used to be ... this is the best and fastest home remedy and i think it will look normal again after a week or so of healing. p.s. hey just like you guys i was really scared when i saw these. it ruined my sex life. i tried aldara and countless remedies that did not work. i heard about apple cider vinegar and it worked! i just want to help everyone else going through this so listen up. Buy 5% or natural apple cider vinegar, cotton balls or q-tips, surgical tape, and vitamin E oil.. all of this can be found at a grocery store. make the cotton balls the size of the wart, soak, apply, and tape it up tight. Do this and leave it on a couple nights in a row and they will start to turn white then black then scab then fall off. Apply vitamin e to help your skin heal and prevent scarring. Just a couple tips from experience, try to keep it on just the wart so you don't burn other areas and do not over do it! it could burn enough to scar so give it time and keep this area clean. If you listen and be smart about it you will get rid of these things with no problem. Remember you have to stay healthy if you want your body to get rid of these forever! So ive had these things for over a year..and at first the clinic said it was 'skin foliculs'! i recently went to the doctors and got all checke because they had bugged me alot..I recently heard through a friend who happend to sleep with the same person,they had it to.and they gave me this information,its day 2 now..im not sure if its working,it didnt burn to much the first day,but today it did,i didnt mind it,i can tolarate it..it kinda seemed to be going down...how long should this last? and if any of the vinigar get into "you know where" could it hurt me,or effect anything??
im scared that this isnt going to work for me.will they come back?i was told this can never leave your body..if these do go away,and i have sex,and my partner also has it..could i see these damn things again??or if we both have gotten rid of them,should we be good..please i need some more answeres,if someone could just help me..
yeah so as much as acv smells weird, i gotta admit, it does work. HOWEVER, i donno how you guys do it overnight. i usually sleep like 10 hours and i applied a acv soaked paper towel peice covered with a bandaid or 2 to the bottom part of my main pube area right at the base of the shaft. and when i woke up it had burned my skin on my penis shaft (the skin on the shaft is pretty thin tho). so be careful how long you do it. i would probably recommend doing it during the day or when you settle down for the night, so you can monitor how its doin. im gonna continue using it for no more then 5 hours at a time and see how that works. its weird to try and work around the folds and what not of the whole area while trying to minimize how big the acv covered paper towel chunk you are using is. i suppose i will return and post the results. i did it for 4 hours last night and the ones i had covered with acv turned white, then i rinsed the area with water then went to bed. tonight im gonna try for 5 hours with the same area and see how it does. i am focusing on approx 10 total, in 4 groups. i really really hate this smell. oh ya i am also starting to drink it too. i put like a teaspoon of it in a bottle of water and im gonna down that before the end of the night.
i got blood tested when i had no signs or symptoms and was told i had herpes simplex type 2. i was devistated as any 20 year old girl would be as i had only had 2 partners, and was in a serious relationship with one of them for 2 years already. im 27 now and im still with the same guy. i feel like a piece of shit because have never had the balls to tell him. i made him go get tested so he could find out that way and they said he is clean. maybe he just doesnt have the balls to tell me either. any way i am having what appears to be an outbreak, but it looks much more like warts than herpes. actually i am certain that they are warts. im gonna try the acv today to see what happens. ive had many years to come to terms with this diagnosis and now i dont know what to think. my life and concience are a mess. how do you guys deal with informing partners??

Goodness, I'm pretty sure I got HPV 4 years ago. I knew something was off, I could just tell my body wasn't right. But there weren't any physical symptoms or signs. I went to 8 different doctors. I was tested for what I thought was everything and it all came back negative. One doctor even told me, "Stop using body wash, maybe that will relieve the itching". Not ONE of them could see that I had HPV. I continued to do research online and pretty much diagnosed myself. Finally the 9th doctor I went to said, "You have HPV which causes GW" yikes. I fell apart and started crying. I had been in a relationship with a guy for 8 months, after we were both tested and everything came back negative, we started having unprotected sex (with birth control). He knew I was seeing doctors, he knew that I still thought "something was wrong", but when I finally found out I had it it was still difficult and embarrassing to tell him. Surprisingly he took it well though. I'm not sure if I ever used the word "warts" though. I just said, "I have HPV which is why I have those little bumps". We've still continued to have sex, I mean- I'm sure he already has HPV. But he's shown no symptoms. It's kind of painful for me, but worth it.
But yea, I worry and wonder. If him and I break up, how do I tell someone new about this? I would be nervous and worried. But I feel a little better knowing that A LOT of people have this (which is sad), but it is really common. I just wish there was more awareness about it. I thought that being tested, having everything come back negative... I thought I was safe and in the clear. That was a rude awakening.
I think it's important to tell partners if you are going to have unprotected sex. But it doesn't mean it's an easy conversation.

I am torn. Okay its been 5 weeks since I've started doing the ACV treatment. It got rid of some of my warts. The ones from my anus are completely gone. I'm so happy. But the ones near the opening of my vagina came back and they are bigger. Does anyone know of another remedy that might work?

To the females who have tried ACV. Did you use it internally as well? or just on the outer areas? I'm afraid to use it since it's such a sensitive area. Any advice or suggestions? I was planning on using a cotton ball and starting with minimal time and slowly building up after I see how it goes.
yea i hear you on that. gettin a bandaid on some of these places where a wart is, is nearly as challenging as picking something to eat when i open my fridge. what types of bandaids do you all use? and btw i stopped the treatment for like a week but im back on it again. but before i did it for a few days straight for like 5 hours a day and the warts would just get white and never turned black and into a scab or whatever. does this mean i dont have the acv on there long enough? last time i left it on overnight for like 10 hours it burned my skin
I started the treatment on wedsday and they were all gone on on satrday morning. It truely did work and the 1st day it didnt burn but the other 2 days it did. I would sleep with it bandaided on and shower in morning and when i would go to work I put it right back on and left it all day. Now i just got redness where the warts were at but ive been puttin some cream on it and the redness is going away. I highly recomend this treatment to anyone. Ive wasted alot of money with doctors and other internet garbage.
This works amazingly. You can actually dip the ACV in a cotton ball, and slowly, but firmly rub it across a wart. Do this for about 5 minutes and the wart will start to bleed a little bit, and the whole wart will literally disapear after about 5 minutes. Sounds painful but it's not really. I did that to a few of them, and then used the band-aid over the cotton ball method a few night for the "clusters". Tea tree oil works, but not nearly as well. ACV is a VERY cheap and effective way, best of luck to all!
Hey guys, I've been trying to find ways to get rid of the ba**** I have down there and I was scared to go to a doc. I'm so happy that I found this ACV trick. I started yesterday and even in a day, it started reacting!! That's super good! I'll keep everyone posted with my result. But I have a question, do you get them back or are they still contagious even tho you get rid of them completely??? I have used ACV to get rid of what may be a wart at the base of the shaft of my penis. I went to the doctor when I first noticed it, but the only advice that I got was that it MAY be HPV.
I haven't had any unprotected sex... and the spot that it is located on isn't typical for HPV. The first time I got it, it was there for 6 months before I treated it... it never spread or got bigger. Too much information, I know, but if I didn't "trim" down there, I may never have noticed it.
In any event, I used ACV and it took about 2 weeks to get rid of the growth. I have also used ACV to get rid of calluses on my hands, and a corn on my foot. It works wonders, and performs much better than the chemicals you can buy. I fought a two year war with the corn using a liquid that I bought from the pharmacy. It kept coming back. The ACV totally got rid of it, and it has not come back.
In my case, the growth on my penis came back about 6 months after the first one fell off. I am currently treating it again.
Don't just use the ACV and then go back to your normal lives! Maintain a healthy lifestyle, and try to do things that boost you immune system (actually research things to do, don't just relay on old wive's tales).
I fell off the wagon a bit with my exercise regime, and stopped eating healthy. I caught some sort of flu, and then the wart came back!
Hi - I AMAZED and excited at how well apple cider vinegar worked. I have been battling for a year now, and have had doctors freeze which sometimes worked, but more often than not it wouldn't go deep enough (maybe they were too timid) and some wart would still be left behind - plus the HASSLE and PAIN of going into the doctor and getting the usual spanish inquisition.
Same deal with the chemical acid they give you to take home. I have used that on some warts as directed and sometimes it just does nothing or alternatively would also burn surrounding areas, it would also take much longer than cider vinegar.
Cider vinegar is amazing at how it seems to target just the wart even though you have applied it to a whole lot of skin with the cotton ball. So 1) it makes sure you get everything, 2) makes sure you aren't burning normal skin (for me it seemed to be only the wart that got angry not anything around it, magic?) 3) allows you to remove other smaller ones that you didn't even know were there.

I actually removed the ones I used them on after one 30 minute session, one 3 hour session, and one over nighter. By then the warts looked all irritated and I knew it must have worked, but slightly different to freezing and acid, it sort of looked like my immune system was fighting them from underneath. The skin around them was still fine, amazing.
As I expected (much the same way as freezing and chemical acid) they turned dark except even more effectively as I think there is more to this response than simply burning I think immune system is stimulated also. They came right off - finally something that works easy and fast and that I can do myself! Will be over it in no time now I have discovered this - along with healthy eating to stop them reappearing.
Also, don't believe hype that they are uncurable, I've read plenty of articles that suggest that you can actually eliminate the virus from your body after 1-2 years. It lives on the surface of your skin, not inside your blood like herpes. So if you cover a lot of area with cider vinegar you are doing a good job at really destroying it all. Stay positive.
One more thing - using a band aid to tape cotton balls to yourself "down there" was a joke (especially if you aren't shaved). Since I actually had them in my pubic area and not on my penis itself (I got them wearing a condom!) I found what worked was covering the cotton balls with glad wrap (to avoid clothes getting wet) and then strapping a belt over top of the glad wrap to hold it down. Works fine for an over night or hanging at home.

been using vintage cider vinegar for the past 3 nights now. Been very painfull but beared it as I thought it must be working. I am now peeling around the affected area. Can not tell if the warts have been removed as they r under the skin. Will keep all posted.
