Tea tree oil is an essential oil that's extracted through steam distillation from the leaves of an Australian native plant called Melaleuca alternifolia.

Aboriginal Australians have used the leaves of Melaleuca alternifolia for hundreds of years to cure skin cuts and burns and many different other skin infections by simply crushing the leaves and applying them to the affected area.

Today, tea tree oil is used as a natural cure for so many skin diseases like Acne, Athlete's foot, dandruff, Eczema and so many other skin related problems.

It is easy to cure genital warts with tea tree oil. All you need, is to put a few drops of the oil on a compress and apply it to the infected area at night and then keep the compress taped on the warts until the morning. Genital warts can also be treated with a conventional topical treatment.

Some topical treatments for genital warts can be self administered. This is the case for creams like Aldara or Efudex .

But some other topical treatments can only be applied by a qualified doctor. This is the case for Trichloroacetic acid (TCA) and Bichloroacetic acid (BCA).

There are 4 surgical procedures for removing genital warts:

1- A doctor may choose to treat genital warts with laser. In this procedure the doctor targets the lesions with a laser beam to burn them off.

2- Genital warts can also be treated by freezing. This method consists on applying liquid nitrogen at -196°C to the warts to kill them in seconds.

3- If the warts are too big a doctor may also choose to use a scalpel or scissrs to remove them. This method is called surgical excision.

4- Finally, one rarely used procedure consists on burning the warts using the heat generated through a specialised instrument by electecity. This procedure is called electrocautery.
