Know the IP address of the website

How?

press start then click run
type ping www.website.com -t

Then you will see pinging www-real.wa1.b.example.com [209.131.36.158] with 32 bytes of data:

PING


now copy the ip address or write it down

Go to c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\ then click hosts

You will see the icons like this

double click on hosts and open it with notepad

Type the ip address and the website separated with at least one space

example

209.11.168.133 www.example.com

or Ive tried the default ip like

127.0.0.1 www.example.com "this still works"

Just read the instructions in the hosts

after editing don't forget to save then close.

Now try typing the website that you blocked

does this works when you use your own PC in entering the website that you blocked or it will work on any PC?
