How to Clear CMOS
Well! I have seen a lot of people came with the same question to me:
"How can I take the password of the system (CMOS)?". From what I heard that both I resolved question post a topic as teaching does this.
First we will understand what is this password ...
This password is required immediately when you turn on the PC. When you turn your PC see a black screen with a bunch of letters and direct passes (this is the test memory). When a PC have a password in the system, the person turns off the PC and once in this same black screen appears a gap to put the password.
Do not confuse this password with the password of the system. That password appears in Windows XP when you enter it (in some Windows XP).
Many people forget the password to boot the system and then is desperate to enter the system more to prevent the password.
Breaking the password of the system ...
Follow the steps below, to get your password ... (It is recommended that you print this topic because
you need to turn off the Micro)
1) Turn off the PC
2) Open the computer (not to turn on the computer, is to open it with the
tools necessary)
3) Find the Jumper of CMOS (It is beside the battery)
4) Change the position of Jumper by 30 seconds and then place it in
normal position (moving from 30 seconds has no problem)
5) Turn on the PC and wait to see the error of CMOS
6) After the error appears between the SETUP and recover the lost data.
Error of CMOS
This error of CMOS will appear when you connect the mike after changed the position of Jumper .
SETUP
To enter SETUP you have to press DEL soon to start the PC. (Stay Pressing repeatedly come up) To recover the lost data (as the step 6) that give you a therapeutic Load in SETUP (LOAD OPTIMAL DEFAULTS)
And if my PC does not have this Jumper If by chance your PC motherboard not have this you can Jumper same procedure with the battery of your PC motherboard, the result is the same.

A. By Using the Motherboard Jumper:
In most motherboards CMOS battery is soldered, which makes it difficult to remove the battery. In this case we use another method.
Almost all motherboards contain a jumper that can clear all CMOS settings along with the BIOS password. The location of this jumper varies depending upon the motherboard brand. You should read your motherboard manual to check its location. If you don't have the manual then look for the jumpers near the CMOS battery. Most of the manufacturer label the jumper as CLR, CLEAR, CLEAR CMOS, etc.
When you find the jumper, look carefully. There will be 3 pins and the jumper will be joining the center pin to either left or right pin. What you need to do, is remove the jumper and join the center pin to the opposite pin. e.g. if the jumper joins center pin to left pin, then remove it and join center pin to right pin. Now wait for a few seconds and then again remove the jumper and join the center pin to left pin.
Make sure to turn the PC off before opening the cabinet and resetting the jumper.
B. By Using Software:
I have found that BIOS/CMOS Password Recovery Tool is the most effective.:
BIOS/CMOS Password Recovery Tool is a program that works instantly to remove any lost or forgotten BIOS/CMOS password. Simply boot your PC to DOS and execute the program, and get access to forgotten BIOS/CMOS passwords in just seconds
