It's important to get it right before you attempt to market anything.

Or, if you're already marketing online, there's steps you need to know to get your focus on what you should be doing - the how's and the why's.

And it's yours just for asking.

Maybe you and lot of other people are sick of not getting enough targeted traffic and not enough money as a result.

You're reading this because social networking is already working for you.

Social networking can in fact, really spice up your traffic, profits and grow your business...

Friendster is an example of a site that uses social networking... there are hundreds and more popping up every day...but why?

If you had the same networking power like this working for you, chances are your traffic, conversion rates and profits would shoot up too!

But you probably have your reasons for not being able to really use social networking to your advantage.

Maybe you think it's too hard, too expensive, or maybe you just don't like the idea of integrating social media with your communications.

Well, let me introduce to you the "SNI-Reports" guide. Social networking index repots shows you step-by-step how to use social media optimization.

Social Networking Index (SNI-Reports) measures the number of high-contact roles (network diversity) number of people in social network and number of embedded networks...

What exactly is a social media optimization?

Social media optimization (SMO) is a set of methods for generating publicity through social media, online communities and community websites for your own blog or website...

For example: Social media uses the "wisdom of crowds" to connect information in a collaborative manner.

Are you using Internet forums, message boards, weblogs, wikis, podcasts, pictures and video?

Or using technologies like blogs, picture-sharing, vlogs, wall-postings, email, instant messaging, music-sharing, group creation and voice over IP, to name a few.

Examples of social media applications are Google, Wikipedia, MySpace, Facebook (all using social networking)...

Last.fm, Reddit, YouTube, Second Life and Flickr.

Isn't it time you started to use the power of social media?

As time goes on, internet surfers will only become more and more "blind" to traditional media - even more than they already are.

SNI-Reports shows you an easy and inexpensive method to start integrating technology, social interaction, and the construction of words and pictures to grab your visitor's attention.

Having more of your visitors' attention means increased sales, conversions, and profits!

The more I get into to hubpages, the more I see that it is more about the communitry than just trying to get money. I think a lot of people have the wrong idea about web 2.0. Granted, it can get you top rankings in the search engines if you use the right keywords. I did a hub on that:

But you can quickly turn a lot of people off if you are not also sincere and become part of the community.

Thanks vreccc for reading, yes I agree with you...your valued feedback is most appreciated. Personally speaking, for me it's mostly about connecting, and the long term success of relationship with people within a community is the heart of it, but there's a lot of people who don't know about web 2.0, keyword research and SEO, that's why we're here to help each other, right? Keep in touch, I'm sure we've got lots to share and explore, cheers!

Highwaystar, with me it all boils down to "time", social networking takes up alot of time; not denying the value in it.

Hub pages strikes me as the best of both worlds, and unlike squidoo, it's easier to use. Then there is that "social" aspect of it in the community. The best to you!

Thanks dhuffman31 for your valued feedback, I appreciate you taking time to read this hubpage... truth be known, technology is making it more complicated and expensive, and yeah some will argue its easier and quicker. Which side of the fence are you on? Anyway, PPC is still king of the mountain, you need a good budget focus with understanding because it can be a high rollers sweep stake game for building business online or offline. Bottom line, no matter which path you take, SEO, social networking or whatever, it will cost you in time and money. There's no incentive in it for me to steer you in the wrong direction.
