For those who are avid IMVU players, Im sure we can all agree that the most important thing to have when playing is CREDITS.

Credits are used for virtually everything: clothes, shoes, hair, accessories, avatar poses, places, furniture, etc... Becuase of this it is not surprising that it is difficult to earn credits.

If you're like me spending your own money on virtual 'money' for a game doesn't have much of an appeal, regardless of whether you need them to purchase certain items.

So, what do you do?

After spending countless hours browsing the internet, I was able to find several ways to earn credits with out spending money.

On the IMVU site there are several ways to earn free credits.

First is by watching the sponsored videos. What they don't mention is that though there is only two videos, you can actually earn about 300 credits by replaying the videos until you no longer earn credits from them.

Next, is the daily Spin Free. Here you can earn up to 500 credits.

Another way to earn free credits on the IMVU site is the visit the New Products page once a day.

This will give you up to 50 credits.

Through browsing different sites I came upon MetaRL.com. This site lets you earn points and after you gain at least 200 points you can trade them in for:
IMVU credits
IMVU Avatar Name
IMVU Name Change Token

On this site you can complete games and tasks that earn you instant points. There are also contests and free offers. Lastly, when you refer your friends to MetaRL.com earn points when they register AND when they earn points!

Finally, for those who occasionally do spend their own money to buy credits, I've found a site called Cassiopeian Credit Sales. They sale the IMVU credits at half off, making it cheaper.

I recently purchased credits from them and I am very satisfied.
