How, Where to find and chose a home business, mlm, network, social marketing mentor, coach, teacher

What an absolute tragedy to invest in something you believe in, only to find out that you don't have the goods to make it work. It's tragic, and it's ridiculous, and if I may go so far, it's stupid. I can say that because, for the better part of last year, I was stupid in my thinking and approach to online marketing. A person would have to be brain dead to think that they can take on the Internet marketplace without guidance.

The difference for me has been having the right people to teach me. Any Internet marketer who does not know how to advertise on the major search engines, unless you are direct prospecting for lead generation, is wasting their time. The search engines are the best source of traffic and it's vital that you know how to take advantage.

Internet marketing success starts with the addition of a good mentor. Following top business leaders like Donald Trump and Donnie Deutsch, those who are sharp will notice that there is a specific way to sell and build your business. Just applyinig what they teach will allow you to develop a business model worth millions if you listen.

Where would the greatest of the great in sports be today without a coach? Nowhere! Where would the smartest of the smart be without a teacher? Nowhere! Why is it that people can't recognize that excellence requires the investment of time and money as well as the enlistment of help?

The answer? Could be several... pride, fear and greed are the three biggest killers of a marketing career, in my opinion. I hear it every time I talk to someone, whether they join me or not. I'm not someone who minces words. I come right out and ask people "why are you here? Are you here to become a millionaire or are you here to start a "mom and pop" operation? Like the men listed above, Internet business owners should qualify their prospects, like on The Apprentice. You want to build a big down line for example, how can you do that if you dont' have leaders and teachers on your front lines?

After 13 years in this industry, I can say with confidence that you are not going to learn this on your own. You will, at one point, have to read a book, watch a video... do something to learn the right way, if you ever want to be a success online. But even reading isn't going to take you to the level you want to be. A mentor will take you there.

Why not seek out a coach, a teacher, a mentor, a trainer... someone who is willing to invest their time in you, side by side, and show you how to become a successful Internet marketer? If you want to become an industry leader, and a millionaire, why not become friends with one? There are many who work from, day after day, just waiting for the right person to come along, who is focused and dedicated to learning what it takes to become successful.

How does someone go about finding a coach or mentor? Google is a good place to start. You can also look to social communities for mentors. Direct Matches, MySpace, Yuwie, Facebook... all of these communities produce leaders for us consistently. All you have to do is learn how to find them.
