One of my favorite bands of all time has just announced they are going back out on the road for their summer of 08 tour. They will be hitting both the outdoor sheds and the arenas all over the US. Well as any pearl jam fan will know, typically Pearl Jam sells out VERY quickly, especially the outside venues. So what is a Pearl Jam fan to do if they have either no luck getting tickets on the onsale or they simply cannot buy tickets when they go onsale, well this hub will discuss how to get quality seats at a good price.

The first thing to take a look at if tickets are sold out, in my opinion would be craigslist.org. Craigslist. org is a great site to find tickets at face value or under for all shows. However with the good comes the bad, while you may find deals on one show for way under face, there may be another show where you will have to pay OVER face value. Keep in mind, you win some and you lose some. When buying off of craiglist, look for your city and look for people selling "Pearl Jam" tickets. When deciding on who to buy from, either an individual or a ticket broker company, NEVER pay with western union or sending an unknown person a money order. ONLY deal with people who will either accept paypal OR will do a charge by phone.

The second thing you can do is look on Ebay.com. Chances are if Pearl Jam adds another date, and chances are they will, there will be a GLUT of inventory on both Ebay and Craiglist. This is where you can strike hard. Keep in mind, many people on ebay are looking to sell their tickets RIGHT AWAY and if there is a second show added or the first show does not sell out, they are looking to move out of their seats and you can benifit from this. One thing though, don't expect the front row seats to go for under face or face good seats always go for money in regards to a band like Pearl Jam, but you can get quality seats on ebay if you just take your time and look for the desperate seller. Look for titles like, "need to blowout" "free shipping" or the famous "face value" line. One waring with ebay, make sure you deal with a seller who has GOOD feedback and has shown a recent track record of buying and selling.

The third thing you can do is go to a ticketbroker. I know, I know, many people do not like to deal with ticketbrokers, HOWEVER if you deal with a certified, real company they are one of the few that will guarantee their product. And the advantage to working with a ticket broker is sometimes, you may actually pay less then any other site due to the fact that they will have more inventory than ANY other site and the people who run the broker websites have one thing in mind, and that is to sell tickets. Also keep in mind, there are a TON OF SHOWS this summer to chose from. Seems every major act is on the road this year and prices on broker sites for pearl jam will be allot cheaper than in past years, because the demand may not be there.
