How to get started selling your house junk on eBay?
63The first thing you'll need to really get any serious selling done on ebay is a verified account. This can be accomplished by receiving 10 positive feedback purchasing items on ebay or using their verification system.
Next, you're going to want some good quality feedback from sellers as a buyer. Take some time to shop on ebay and build up your feedback.
Typically, auctions which the seller has a low feedback score or bad feedback will go for less as people will be less likely to believe they will have a hassle free experience when buying from the seller.
After that you're going to want to do some research.
Make a list of items you want to sell around the house and then do a search on ebay for similar completed items. You may find that an item has little to no value or would not be worth the cost of shipping it. Some things just aren't popular on ebay.
After you find out what you actually want to sell you'll want to gather all the details you can about the items. The more information you include in the auction, the higher people will pay. Make sure to be as detailed as possible including any flaws. Honesty goes a long way on ebay.
When you do your research about what you want to sell you will probably get a good idea of what information other people include in their auctions. You can even use this time as research for the items you will be selling.
Remember to be prepared to ship your items immediately after you receive payment. The better the feedback you receive, the more items you will sell for higher prices, so be careful to make sure people are happy with what they're going to receive.

Good point about building up a positive buyer history before expecting to sell for big bucks! That has been make or break for me on several items when I needed to decide which item to buy... always go for the guy with better feedback! Thanks for answering my request!
