How to grow pepper plants from seed.

Hi Gardening Friends

Now is the time to start pepper plants from seed.

You can start peppers plants February 1st to March 15 th in the northeastern

United States..

This is what you do. First you need clean sterilized flats and germination

mix. Also buy the pepper seeds from a realizable seed company.

After you get the pepper seeds that you want to grow than you can have your seed flats ready by filling them 1/2 full with the germination mix and then soaking the flats before sowing the seeds. Sow the seeds by procasting them across the seed flat then cover the seeds with some of the germinating mix.

Cover with germinating mix slightly over the seeds. Then mist the flat never let the flat dry out always keep seed flat evenly moist. It usually takes about 10 to 14 days for peppers to germinate. Also in the house you can but them on a propagating mat with a grow light above then about 18 inches away.

Hope this information helps you. And happy gardening.
