Halter Top

Make your own halter top out of an old t-shirt (that space in your closet that is devoted to those old t-shirts that we can't part with, but don't want to wear as is)

What you need:

· An old t-shirt (I used an old school tee)

· Scissors that will cut fabric

· Safety pins

How to do it:

1. Take the old shirt and cut diagonally in the front of the shirt from the collar to the arm pit of the sleeve. (Do not cut the collar itself.)

2. Cut around the rest of the collar in the back (NOT the front).

3. Cut a strait line across in the back from under the left armpit to the right armpit (meeting where you cut in #1).

4. If your shirt is too big for you in width, then you can put safety pins on the side horizontally from under the armpit to the bottom of the t-shirt( You can cut off the excess fabric that goes past the safety pins if you want. Personally, I think it makes it look better)

You're Done! You have a new halter top with safety pin décor, and it didn’t cost anything but some safety pins!
