1st of all, is your basement finished? yes, no, either way, you would want to, know the size of the room, cover the cement wall with block filler, you can find it where ever they sell paint, then ask your hard wear man, for some moister block. I have never done this to mine, and it stays dry, I don't know why, it just dose. those things above should help.
