How to make your own Rice Water Mask with no preservatives for beautiful skin

Many years ago it was discovered that Saki rice handlers had very smooth skin. This led women to using rice to create a glow for their skin.

· Begin with a freshly cleansed face.

· Take rice and place it in a bowl. Pour water over it in order that the water is about one inch over the rice. Stir it until the water is cloudy. Pour the water into a measuring cup and then use the cup to pour the water into a container with a tight lid. Now you have made your own facial toner. Now take a cotton pad and rub it on your skin to remove impurities.

· You can also make your own facial mask. Take an absorbent paper towel. Fold the towel and cut two circles for your eyes. Now cut a rectangular place for your mouth. Cut a slit for your nose. Soak the paper towel folded in a bowl of water for 10 minutes. Take the paper towel out and wring out the paper towel. Unfold the moist paper towel mask carefully so that you do not rip it. Place the paper towel on your face. Scrunch it to fit your face securely. Leave it on for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes remove the mask. Your face should be soft and smooth.

· Try using various types of rice as different types of rice have different nutrients and vitamins. Your skin will benefit from using the variety of rice.

Create designs with rice

Take rice and lay it on a flat surface. Move the grains of rice to create various pictures with the rice. You may dye the rice first and create multi-color pictures as well.

Create fun crafts with rice

You can create a hacky sack with rice

Make a fun rice shaker with a small water bottle and some rice. Pour some rice into the bottle. Cover the bottle and you have created a musical instrument for a small child.

Create a rain stick with rice: Take a wrapping paper tube or a paper towel tube and poke some holes in the tube. Painting the tube is one way to decorate the tube. Seal one end of the rain stick. Now pour rice into the open end of the stick.

Rice and energy

Rice may be used to conserve energy. Sew a long tube the length of the door that runs the floor. Fill it with rice. Lay it along the door line when the door is closed. It will help to keep cold air from seeping into your home from under the door in the winter. It will help to keep warm air from seeping into the house in the summer when you are running your air conditioner.

What a great idea! Rice - of course!

I am always looking for natural products. I like the idea of the mask by cutting the paper towel. When I lived in S. Korea - the masks were made that way. You'd tear open a packet, and pull out this damp mask that had been soaked in lovely ingredients, and lay it over your face with cutouts for eyes and nose.

I'm making a list of all the great things I'll do this winter when I'm indoors (the coldest winter ever has been predicted) so I will add this to the list.

Thank You!
