The main thing one has to be in this business, is determined. You have to look at it this way - If you own a store, would you want your shop to boom or would you send business elsewhere? Of course, I would do everything possible to make money in my store. You have to look at Neways as your own business. You want to succeed, so unless you keep persisting and finding ways to do it, you will not manage to make any money.

Yes, being positive is one of the most important things that you have to keep in mind. If you keep your goals and dreams in your mind, you will work even harder and make more money. But just dreaming is not enough. You need to know how to go about it too. To do this you must learn from others' mistakes. Did you know that 95% of MLMers don't succeed in their business, and give up? Why? They most certainly had dreams! Of course, but was that enough to keep them going? When people tell you - NO, and they are not interested - THEY MEAN THAT!! Don't keep trying to push the issue.

We need to learn to focus on people who are interested in Network Marketing, people who enjoy this kind of work. This is the only way to the top. Focus on teaching people what Neways is all about and how network marketing works.

There are various business opportunites out there, and of course I am sure that they are all great! But I am going to focus on the one that I promote. Making it to Diamond takes time and work. Determination and aiming for the goal are essential in this business. If you don't keep thinking positive and KNOW that you are going to make it, you will NOT succeed. But like I said, you need to market your products (whatever they are) properly.

There are several ways:

1. Social Marketing - join facebook, my space, and so many other social networking sites. You are guaranteed to find hundreds, even thousands of friends who are in the same kind of work. I presently have about 250 friends.. and they keep coming!
2. Blogs - Blogs are important - you write about what you know, your products, your work, things you love. Explain things so that your friends can understand what you are talking about. Put questions (it's like you are talking to your friends personally).
3. Write articles about what you know. There are several sites where you can market your articles. Hubpages is one of them. There is also squidoo. The more you write, the more you get onto the search engines. And the better the quality of your articles, the more chances are of you being on the first pages of yahoo/google and so many others.
4. The most important things are - DO NOT COPY SOMEONE ELSE'S ARTICLE. Be original. Put keywords in your title that are going to be used also in your articles.
5. Another important thing is YOUR PROSPECTS ARE PEOPLE. Treat them that way. When you write, whatever you are writing, remember that the person reading them has his/her own feelings, ideas etc. And they will respond to someone who treats them like a person! We are not MACHINES!
6. Finally, enjoy it, do not overdo it. Have fun and be positive about what you do - Do not look at your income now, if you have just started - look at the long term revenue. Yes, it does take a little time to make money. If you want to make money fast - luck and lottery are the only way to do it! (unless you know of anything else.. Lol). Otherwise anything that involves a career - you have to WORK at it. It takes someone who is williing to learn new tactics, and methods of how to make their business succeed, in my case, NEWAYS.

Forget the 3foot rule, forget cold calling. They DO NOT work! I used to find it sooo frustrating having to call people, one after the other, and maybe get one yes out of 10 (if I was lucky!!!!!).My friend (coleague) and myself,used to spend Saturdays going off to shopping malls, groceries, stopping people before they buy certain products - are you sure you want to buy that? And then start the presentations - My goodness, the thought of doing that again, makes me shudder! Never again!!

I did and still do believe in my products. I find Neways very healthy and my family has really benefited from them. In fact, I will NEVER use anything else now!! But I cannot force it down people's throats. People need to learn more about the products, the system, the HOW to market them correctly. Now, I am making money, and it took me a while to understand how to go about it. I have people emailing me constantly to learn about the business, the products. Even people who already use Neways email me to ask about which products are best for what!! That way you are learning more yourself and at the same time TAKING YOUR MARKETING TO THE EXPERT LEVEL!
