Jello Shot Recipes

Don’t afraid to get creative. You don’t have to be a professional bar tender to make kick-ass jello shots.

Margarita Jello Shots

  • 6 ounces Lime Jello (large box)
  • 16 ounces boiling water
  • 6 ounces tequila
  • 2 ounces Triple Sec
  • 1 ounce lime juice
  • 1 ounce cold water

Mix the jello powder with the boiling water until fully dissolved then add the rest of the water and alchohol.

Rum and Coke Jello Shots

  • 6 ounces Cherry Jello
  • 8 ounces boiling Coke
  • 8 ounces cold Coke
  • 8 ounces White Rum

Mix the jello powder with the boiling coke until fully dissolved then add the rest of the coke and the rum. Stirr the mixture some more until the bubbles begin to subside.

Mai-Tai Jello Shots

  • 6 ounces Tropical Jello
  • 16 ounces boiling water
  • 2 ounces Light Rum
  • 4 ounces Dark Rum
  • 2 ounces Pineapple Juice

Irish Whiskey Sour Jello Shots

  • 6 ounces Orange Jello
  • 16 ounces boiling water
  • 12 ounces cold water
  • 4 ounces Irish Whiskey

Common mistakes:

  1. Avoid bad recipe. Taste before serving it to your guests.
  2. Serve the Jello Shots in at least 1 oz cups.
  3. Keep the Jello Shot chilled as longer as you can.
  4. Do not use too much alcohol. It will ruin the flavor and most probably will get the jello liquid too soon.
