Most people who reach internet to make money, want to be rich overnight.

The first lesson to know is here you cannot be rich overnight. However, do not lose hope because I did not say it is not possible to be rich on the internet. It is possible to be rich, but not by a few clicks or few posts or as they say by just doing nothing !

If you want to make money you got to put some hard work. I am not saying you need to do hard work all your life, but you need to put some work until things settle down.

Remember that the most successful people have all grown over a period of time.

Be prepared for a period anywhere between minimum 6 months to 1 year before you start to see the real results of your work.

Choosing the topic.....

Choose the topic on which you really have knowledge, not what you get by copying and pasting.

Does that mean you should not google it ?
Not exactly. You can read and collect information as much as you want, but only to improve your knowledge, assimilate and digest it, but not copy and paste. I mean you can read as many story books as you want, but when you write a story it should be creative and your own.

Choose a topic that you have enough knowledge that you can answer when people ask you.

Don't choose 100 topics that have no connection at all !

If you idea is to make money on hubpages, do not choose multiple topics that have no connection, but rather just 1 topic and may be sub divisions in that.

For example if you choose the topic mobile phone and then the next topic is gardening and the next topic about best ships and the next about boxing....... and so on..... you will have enough and more articles to write about..... this is good if you are writing it just for fun....... but if you want to make money this is not a wise idea. Stick to just one topic. This is because if you start writing multiple topics you will either not get many fans or if you get many fans, you will lose out on them later.

Just look at the fans who read your topic on mobile and subscribes it..... he/she would feel disappointed to see article about gardening, ships, boxing.... etc. in which he/she has absolutely no interest.... so he/she will unsubscribe or may stop opening your mails or visiting your hub page. The result is you will not get regular traffic.

Don't overdo it !

Most people looking to make money overdo the task of writing articles in the initial phase and get frustrated and leave it halfway through. Do it slowly, but steadily.

Quality matters

Most people are interested to see the numbers rise fast and for that, they do not write quality materials. The result is they will get heavy traffic in the initial phase and people will read half and leave never to read again. Each person who reads your article is your customer and if he is happy, he is going to come back again and again, every time and he is going to spread to his friends and members.... more people are going to like it, vote it to the top, and then search engines will pick it up again and again even years after it is written. So though you may have written an article now, if it is quality stuff, then search engines will continue to lead traffic to it for many more years and result would be cash coming in even when you are sitting idle.

Dont fool hubpages or search engines or ad makers.

Most people think they can fool website makers and ad makers with tricks. However, it is most foolish thing to do. There are most advanced computer program that can detect frauds and tricks. Then don't forget there are also people working in those companies who may catch you when machines fail. Last but not the least there are users who are going to report about fraud.

A picture is much powerful than 100 words...... So if you are trying to explain what is an elephant, then the readers mind end up like in the story of the blind men and the elephant where each think elephant as a different thing. However, a simple picture would do a lot of good. A diagram if you are explaining a process is just cool.

It would be great if even text part is also put into multiple modules.

On Hubpages you also get opportunity to update or add more content to your existing article so this means that as days go by your article would just get better and better. Better articles means better traffic and better traffic means more money.

Everything does not work always!

Hard work will pay does not mean you write about the most boring topic which no one wants to read. Check out your topic for around 10-15 posts and see how people are responding. If you feel it is totally useless to continue on the topic, then it would be wiser to move to another topic.

Do your homework !

If you feel you have sound knowledge on multiple topics, then it would be a wise thing to do your home work. You can visit http://trends.google.com/ and check out which has good traffic. You can even browse various pages and topics on hubpages and find out what people are more interested in. However, as I said earlier never choose a popular topic unless you have sufficient knowledge about it.

You don't have to be genius or a philospher!

Most people think they have to write complicated content to attract people. This is absolutely wrong. You can even write about your daily life story which you may find a lot of people interested rather an article on integral calcus. A mother's problem in handling her child or pushy boss might have other people coming to form a group and friendship.

Read other article of other people

You should also read article of other people who have the same interest or similar interest. You should try to get involved in their story and give valuable truthful opinion. You can be their fan and they make soon be your fan. This will give strong base.

Eat and live life, not money

The most important of all is when you are writing an article, it should be about something you love about, and you should be enjoying the time you are spending. This will reduce your stress levels and bring out the creativity in you and your articles will also start shining with it. Getting money is just an added advantage.

There is something in Adsense known as CPM that stands for Cost per Thousand ad views using the Latin word mille in the acronym.

In a normal case a publisher gets paid in 2 ways. One when someone clicks the ads and the other is for just views. So if a publisher if paying CPM of $100, that means the cost of 1 view is 10000 cents/1000= 10 cents.

So in a site where people click on ads if the number of people clicking the ads say 100 and one gets say 0.05 cents per click. Then per month for that is 0.05*100= 5 dollars.

However, in a girlie site if the number of impression is 100000 and 1 view just gets 0.001 cents, then 0.001*100000=100 dollars !!

The above are just vague ideas... however, stealing pictures from websites or putting someone else's pictures without permission could get one into deep trouble in course of time.

Copied articles can be found easily using search engine, but if words are jumbled up it may be bit difficult to prove the copyright. However, if pictures are stolen, it may not be as easy to find through search engine, but if picture is found then any fool can say the 2 pictures are just the same especially when the site name is also inscribed or watermarked on the pictures.

In countries where law is strict, it is difficult to do these sort of things, but in countries where law is not so strict and one is good at escaping the law, using stolen pictures is a way people make money.

There is a loop hole in the law, which says, I think, that only actual copyright owners should report copyright violations.

However, the point is that pictures also can make money.
