This is my mothers spaghetti sauce recipe.

Hi Gardening Friends

Here is a great Spaghetti Sauce Recipe that my mother used to make for her entire family. I hope if you have lots of tomatoes from your garden you try to

make this great spaghetti sauce. This sauce is alot better than the store brought sauce that you get in the local grocery store. And when do you think

that sauce was made? This is a sauce that was made from tomatoes that was

grown from your garden and you made this sauce yourself and you can take pride in that this is something you made and you can give this out to your family and friends. In which you can say that you made this sauce all by yourself.

Here is my mother Jean Spaghetti Sauce Recipe.

Spaghetti Sauce Recipe

1/2 bushel tomatoes

3 lbs of chopped onions

4 hot peppers any kind that you like to use.

most people use Hungarian yellow wax.

2 heads of garlic

Cook the above until done put through strainer

Add

1 pint Mazzola Oil.

1 tsp Basil

1 tsp of Oregano

1/2 cup of Salt

48 oz of tomato paste

Cook on medium until desired thickness. I don't make it to thick becauce I cook it when I make spaghetti.

Put into hot jars and seal.

Makes 10 to 12 quarts.

I hope you all like the spaghetti sauce the way we did growing up

in are family. Let me know if you like this recipe?

Happy Cooking.
