How to make videos for youtube

I just started making videos for youtube, and I have to admit, I'm hooked. So, I will try to give you the best answer I can. Like almost anything else, there's a ton of information on the internet, including YouTube. However, I understand when you say "remembe" your new, so I will try to be clear.

First, you need to know video comes in several different formats i.e.avi dvd dv vob mov wmv 3gp mkv. YouTube accepts most of these. You can look the different ones up on the internet for more information, but basically ifyou use any low to medium price digital camera, or even cell phone, together with some basic software to do edits, you will be fine.

YouTube likes the AVI format as well as several others. And, the good news is that many consumer level digital cameras like cannon powershots, come with software that allows you to edit and convert the format into one thatyou tube will accept. Micro soft xp also includes an editor in there service pack 2 download called moviemaker. So, first you need a camera, and editing software would be nice if you want to create something more on the unusal side. I personally use canon powershot sd630, and it does a great job alone with muvee for software.

Once you've shot the video and performed some basic editting and saved it on your computer, you're ready to upload it to your youtube site. That's easy, since there's a link on your youtube site that says "upload video"

After you become comfortable with this part of the process, you can then start reading some of the many articles and videos out there on how to improve your work.
