How to make your back more flexible
62How to make your back more flexible
Training for a marathon is tough. Especially when you've never ran before. Before i started to train a friend of mine advised me to stretch and make my back more flexible or i may injure my back. I did not take his advice on making my back more flexible and before i knew it i was having back problems. So i did some research and gave my friend a call to see what i could do to make my back more flexible. I found out the list is endless. Everything from yoga to eating right and getting the proper nutrients. So instead of listing everything off, i am going to give you a list of what i did and boy did it work great. My back is more flexible and i have no more back problems.
The first thing i read about on back flexibility was to stretch after a five minute warm up. This is great advice and it makes sense. I always thought that it's best to stretch before any exercise but on the contrary i read that you want your muscles to be warm and have increased blood flow in order to achieve the best stretch and gain the best back flexibility. Next drinking water is an important part of flexibility, if you don't have the right amount of water you can't hydrate your muscles to gain more body and back flexibility. The last thing i did was analyze my diet and see what nutrients i was missing. i realized my diet was lacking essential fish oils and minerals needed to gain back flexibility and keep it. I researched and researched supplements and came across backfx. I tried this suplement for three weeks and not only was i more flexible, i started noticing other changes in my body. I was full of energy, not tired when i woke up in the morning, not irritated so easy while teaching and at board meetings. I continue to take this supplement it has like 9 differnet ingredients which most people are deficient in. The best thing is my back is more flexible and i feel great.
Stretches are easy to find on the internet just type in the group of muscles and many stretches will come up. I have come to the consensus that stretching should be done 3 times a day, each time a stretch is perfromed it should be done three times on the muscle and held for thirty seconds. Remember to check with a doctor if you have any questions on stretching. Don;t hurt yourself. Next the rule for water is that you want to have half the amount of you body weight in ounces. So if you weigh 160lbs you want to have 80 ounces of water. If you exercise or sweat alot you need more. The last is backfx, if you are lacking in nutrients go to backfx.com it has alot of nutrients in one serving.
