Mulled cider is one of those delicious fall traditions. Making it is super simple and it's always bound to taste great. You'll need 2 quarts of fresh cider and 2-4 cinnamon sticks. You could also add 1/4 cup of brown sugar, 2 teaspoons of whole cloves, 1 teaspoon of nutmeg, 1 teaspoon of allspice, 2 bay leaves and the zest of one orange. Any of those last ingrediants can be eliminated if you want. Put the ingrediants into a large pot, heat to a boil, and then reduce the heat and cook for 1 hour. Next, strain the cider to remove the spices (you dont need to do this if you used just the cinnamon and nutmeg) and just serve it hot and enjoy!
