Whenever I pray, I get exactly what it is that I am praying for. That is why it is very important to Know what you are seeking from God. Meditate on whatever it is that you are seeking from God. It must be in your inner most thoughts and make sure that what you are seeking is what you really want, even if the answer that you get is not the answer that you were looking for.

Being able to accept the outcome no matter what is very important. That is why it is said, "Be careful what you ask for because you just might get it". We often ask God for answers to certain situations and when He answers them in His will and purpose, we often may get angry or have resentments. Making our next prayer request delayed.

Try to Pray in the Gift of the Holy Spirit that Jesus Christ came and left us with . Often times when we Pray in the flesh our Prayers don't always reach God. Because Satan has the ability to steal our prayers before they reach God. If we pray in the Spirit, Satan cannot touch them because they are express delivered to Him (God).

God has to know just how much our Prayers mean to us. In other words how badly do we want what we are Praying for. So, He will want us to offer Him something as a Sacrifice from us to Him to show Him that we really need this from Him. According to our determination of our Sacrifice, He will know how sincere we are about what we Pray for.

The biggest Sacrifice that we can offer God is the Sacrifice of our flesh. How do we Sacrifice our flesh? By Fasting. Fasting is the most accepted sacrifice of God. Fasting can be food or anything that the flesh desires. Sex, Meat, Sweets ... etc

By doing this we put our worldly desires aside for a specific amount of time. The timing is up to us as individuals, there is no set time frame, you do what your Spirit will allow. Just be certain that if you make a covenant with God, try your hardest to keep it no matter what it takes. If for some reason you find that it is a difficult task, I believe that God judges our hearts and He will know if it was just to unbearable for the individual or if you just gave up.

When we do this we are basically opening up the lines of communication between us and God. This gives us the ability to hear God talking to us. Sometimes we pray for things and God answers us but we are so busy doing worldly things that we don't even hear Him. Often enough this is how we miss our Blessings.

We also need to know that, Repentance plays a major part in this. We need to ask Him to forgive us our Sins. Then we need to turn away from our sins and live a more Spiritually Righteous lifestyle.

Please do not blame God for the answers that you are given for your Prayers. You will find it gets more and more difficult to get other Prayers answered if you are unappreciative of His Will and Purpose for your life.
