opening rar.files

.rar files are nothing but zipped , the total memory / size of the files synchronised to less than the original,

To open the rara files we just need zipping and un zipping software , it availble for free, just simply click right click on the rar file and select extract files option say ok to complete the extraction , in the extracted location you can see your files.

To open rar files, you need an unzipping utility called winrar which is similar to winzip and probably better than it. You can use this utility for zipping your folders to compress them or to unzip the zipped files.

You can download it free from:

http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm

Once the download is complete, you can then install it on your computer tto strt using it.

Rar software is not free. ExtractNow is the best freeware for more than one archived files at a time, with one click of a button. It makes extracting files quicker and easier. ExtractNow supports ZIP, RAR, ACE, IMG, IMA, IMZ, ISO, and BIN, and archives. Here is the link to download.

WinRAR is a much better piece of software, and it's pretty much free. You only have to pay to get it to stop displaying that notice when you open it (which is small and hardly a problem to most users) and it's fully functional without any charge. Not a very informative hub, I must say.
