Organisation it key to being efficient with your time. There are people out there who constantly take notes and there are people who don't take any notes.

I used to never take notes - I'd think "Yeah, I'll remember this" I remembered it for a while and ended up forgetting it.

When I went to seminars I decided to take notes. As time went by I found myself writing more and more. I had so many books full of notes every time I tried to go back to find what I had wrote I spent sometimes over an hour looking for it!

This was ridiculous, going back looking through all these notes hoping to find what I had written. I had to get organised.

I went and bought a book to write in. I then went through my old books with notes and wrote down all the things that were important on particular subjects.

You can have many different books for different subjects, examples, personal development, wealth creation, goals, etc.

When ever I feel like refreshing my memory on a particular area I can now just pick up my book with all the good information collected from all different sources and read through it.

Now I am sure a lot of you are thinking well yeah what about all the other notes? I found a solution for that too.

Have you heard of mind mapping? Remember back in school when we used to write a word in the middle of a page with a cloud around it with a whole heap of words about it with lines to each word?

It's like that except much more organised. I use mind maps all the time now. I can organise all of my information on there no matter how much information I'd like to put on there.

It is easy to do and you don't have to worry about remembering everything. You write it in the mind map, it is always there, it is categorized how you like it and you will never forget it.

Mind maps have many uses. Uni students can use them to store their notes on, can use them for any information, Can use them to write down business plans, all the information about your business - what is happening, to do list, recipe lists, goals pretty much any information you need can be stored on them.

I use a paid mindmapping program as it has more features. There is a free mind mapping program called "Freemind"

I highly recommend you try it out, as soon as you get in there and start putting things in there you will truly realise how powerful mind mapping really is.
