How to plan a bachelor party
77
Party is a party and there is no difference as they come and they go. You can always attend one and can always organize one but the one marking the end of bachelorhood is certainly different. This is one party that comes only once in a lifetime. One may get bachelor a number of times, all thanks to the concept “divorce” and hence will be eligible to hold a bachelor’s party repeatedly but the party held for the first time has a different meaning and it always remembered. Hence, take proper care of every detail when you plan for one.
Venue
Venue is the soul of any party hence; make sure you choose
the venue carefully. There are few important things that you need to take care
of while choosing the venue for your party.
First and the foremost criteria is the ambiance of the venue
must be good. The venue must be spacious enough to hold the number of guests
you invite. Sometimes people plan the party at their home. This is the one
mistake they make that spoil the total mood. If you book a place for the party,
you just need to make the payment, rest will be taken care of. Those guys are
professional in such things but if you plan it at your place then you have to
do everything on your own. However if you feel you can handle all that then go
ahead.
Second important thing to consider is to see that the venue is easily reachable. It should not be so far away that your guests don’t feel comfortable going there.

Party Invitation
Make a list of people you want to invite. You generally invite your close friends to such a party. But then it depends completely on an individual who is invited and who is not. If I were at your place then I would invite all my friends with whom I have been in touch lately. More the number of friends better it is but that does not mean I will call everyone in my phone book.
Food and drinks
Even for a small tea party, I make sure that my menu is absolutely perfect and contains all that is preferred by my guests. Don’t just pay your caterer and tell him “I want a perfect menu for the evening”. I would suggest to pay an extra attention on what should be in the list and what should not be. You should be very well aware about the taste of your guests and that is why said “invite only those friends that are close to you”. Imagine you have placed some very delicious non-vegetarian dishes on the menu but did not much attention to vegetarian dishes while it happened that some of your guests are purely vegetarian!
One more thing to be taken care in this regard, make sure you do not fall short of anything especially drinks.
Play perfect host
Do not forget this is your party, you are the host and you are the centre of attraction. Everyone would want you to be with him or her so don’t just be with one and forget the other. You have to distribute your time evenly. It is your responsibility to keep the party alive and young, your responsibility to keep the glasses filled and your responsibility to make sure that the DJ is playing that your guest want to listen to. One may say it will be very difficult to manage so many things. Trust me it is not at all so difficult, you just have to plan properly and keep smiling.

It is a bachelor’s party keep it that way!
Remember it is a bachelor part and it should look like one. Just put all your wacky ideas into play. It should not have anything common to office party (they are so boring). Choose a proper theme dress or theme colour and ask your guests to come in the same. If any of your friends are already married then ask them to come with their partner but request them to come like a boyfriend and girlfriend and not like husband and wife, after all it is a bachelor party.
Make sure there is arrangement of music for the occasion. Make a proper play list of the music that should be played. If possible, arrange for a DJ. They will surely set the floor on the fire.
Play frank if you can but do not hurt anyone. Try to create an environment of the college days when you used to enjoy with your friends. Try to be creative, if possible talk to some of your friends for some ideas.
A bachelor’s party is always unique in itself and care should be take that it is indeed one. So just go ahead and have a blast, it’s a party time!

Thanks for the comment. Well actually I am no expert in the matter, it was all out of my imagination. Just thought what would I do if I happen to throw a party before my death (marriage) and just wrote it all down.
