How to prepare to be a Living Tabernacle

As believers or as I prefer to call myself a child of God it is suggested in the word of God that we become living tabernacles. A tabernacle is a place of worship; and praise, a place of refuge to the needy, a place of learning to the believer, a place of conviction to those who desire God but have lost their way, and a place God shares his glory. These are just a few things done in the tabernacle but the point is that God dwelt in the tabernacle in times of old but has told us in his word that he is looking for living a tabernacles not made by the hands of man.

Many make this seem strange or lofty something out of our reach but this hub is design to simplify how we can become living tabernacles that fulfill God's purpose to be a royal priesthood, a holy nation call of God to attract others.

Let's look at how we become places of worship, by using out mouth, emotions and thoughts to honor God in showing humility in his presence. When we show humility and humbleness toward God we become a tabernacle of worship a person that honors God with his body. And others around us are attracted to our demonstration of worship and the worship grows and God is please.

A place of praise, we use our voice, hand, legs and our emotions to demonstrate the joy that we receive from worship, praise is where we celebrate the presence of God in our lives. When we demonstrate the joy of God thru praise we attract others in the joy spreads and God is please.

The place of refuge food to the hungry, water to the thirsty, comfort to comfortless, healing to the sick, a place of rest when we demonstrate the love of God by seeing too the needs of others we become that place of refugee we accept being our brother's keeper, when we spread the word, each one help one God is please we are becoming the living tabernacle he desires.

A place of learning when we study the word of God with the desire to reach others with the word we have learn, others see our dedication to the word in deed and knowledge, they desire to learn from us because when we study correctly the anointing to spread knowledge to others comes upon us in we become places of learning because we freely give what the word of God has given us knowledge of our creator.

The place of conviction when we follow God closely becoming living tabernacles those who watch us closely or get close to us begin to sense the presence of God, and conviction to be more God like begins to come over them when we practice what we say and believe others who are doing wrong become uneasy around us not by our actions but their own inner desire to have what we have dives them to ask us for help and share their desires to be more Christ like.

The glory of God shall be seen on their faces we began to resemble brightness we attract others we are pleseant, people want to be around us but do not understand why and neither do we understand with our natural mind why.

All of the things I just describe cannot be developed by natural means they are spiritual and only manifest when God is please, and no one knows when he is please we have to keep doing what our spirit suggest until we find ourselves wrapped in his glory. Many might say you said there was no magic or mysteries involve but you have just described an act of the spirit. Yes the spirit is not as mysterious as we thank follow your spirit delight yourself in the lord and you will find yourself being a living tabernacle.

"The glory of God shall be seen on their faces..." Very true! We are God's house, not made by human hands. And that house is a power house--glows even at daytime!

Good points, William.

"A tabernacle is a place of worship; and praise, a place of refuge to the needy, a place of learning to the believer, a place of conviction to those who desire God but have lost their way, and a place God shares his glory ..."

We do well to become a place of refuge for others seeking comfort or shelter, so to speak, from hurtful people. Seeing we are the temple of the Holy Spirit, and as such, tabernacles not made by the hands of man, we praise God through our lifestyle of holy living and sincerely loving others unconditionally.
