"How to promote Clickbank Products at Hubpages"

This hub is a starters guide to promoting Clickbank Products using Hubpages, in this guide we will teach you the products to use and which not to use.

First off I will explain what Clickbank is all about for the newbies.

Clickbank is a large Publisher/ Affiliate network that has been set up to allow publishers in almost any niche to be able to sell their products / knowledge through a network.  How it works is that Affiliates are paid a commission to every person they sell to.  These commissions can sometimes be as much as 75% of the value of the product being sold.  The affiliate promotes the clickbank product through various online marketing techniques such as article writing, google adwords, mailing lists etc. 

A lot of people with Clickbank have dormant accounts that never see them earn a paycheck due to fees eating up the odd sale they do get if any.  So is it possible to make regular sales with Clickbank?  Of course it is and there are lots and lots of internet marketers who are doing just that.  It does take work and some trial and error to get the products right, but after you do get it right the key is sticking to that product or that line of products and scaling up.

I want to talk to you all about promoting Make Money products with Clickbank.  In my experience the sales are not as good as promoting say a Save Energy product for example.  I believe the reason for this is that a lot of people looking at make money products that Clickbank has listed are already registered with Clickbank as an affiliate, so instead of putting in your affiliate ID when purchasing the make money product they will put in their affiliate ID instead giving them commissions for that sale.  Another reason is that a lot of those make money products are very similar and are basically just re written work that people have read before so the refund rate can sometimes be a little higher. 

In saying this though, there is still money to be made with Make Money products by other means of advertising like a mailing list.  Say you had a mailing list for people who are looking for new opportunities to make money online they may be only looking to get into the online market and therefore don't even know what Clickbank is all about yet, so they wont even understand what all this Affiliate ID talk is about.

For those who aren't sure what I am talking about when I say Affiliate ID it is a tracking code to make sure that when people click through your link that if they purchase that you will be paid for it.

I recommend having your own personal website to promote Clickbank Products through as well as cloaking your affiliate links.  The reason I say this is that some people may look at a Clickbank Product at work that they have clicked through from your Hubpage and they decide to purchase when they get home.  When they get home they are not going to be thinking about your Hubpage anymore but of the website address for the actual product.  Now because they are using a different computer at home that hasn't recorded your affiliate details through Cookies etc you will not get your affiliate sale.  Had you used your own website with a cloaked link they will most probably write down your website and when they get home type that in which will then register as an Affiliate sale for you and then you will get paid.

I really like Energy products, Satellite TV, and XBOX gaming products as the average person looking at this product don't know what Clickbank even is so they are not going to get rid of your affiliate ID and put their own one in place of it.  They are just there to get the end product and that is it.

It has taken me a while to start making a regular income with Clickbank but it can be done quite easily and to think that just 12 months ago I had very little knowledge about Internet Marketing.
