First Step

It is as simple as getting a bar of soap and washing your face. It requires a flannel and soap with warm water. Rub the flannel in a circular motion in all areas of your face making a laver. Obviously, but you never know, avoid the eyes.  Leave the soap on for a minute and wash off again with warm water.

Opening the pores

Boil the kettle and fill up a basin half way, put your face at the top with a towel covering your head leaving room for air. Leave it in there for 10 minutes or until the water gets cold. (This is instead of paying for a face sauna machine)

Close the poors

Next step is to wash the face again to remove any further dirt left, then splash again with some cold water as this closes the pores and is important in ensuring no dirt gets trapped with make up or general daily tasks.

Finally

If you have oily skin then use talcum powder on your face as this stops the oil and if you have dry skin simply use face cream (not Vaseline) on the skin.  (Talcum powder should only be used if you’re going to bed as it is not appropriate during the day or with makeup)

Cheap and chearful

Good spot treatment

The best advice for reducing spots cheaply and effectivly is SudoCrem as from experience there is a noticable difference although best used overnight as it leaves a white mark on the face since it is difficult to rub in.
