i tied dental floss to base it took 5 days to fall off but tag free now ,once had some removed at gp surgery with scissors had to have some cauderising powder on to stop bleeding floss is much easier
dental floss works like a charm. This method was recommended to me by a Gyno, so i know it is safe and sanitary. 2 1/2 days is all it took!
I tie mine off with sewing thread,but dental floss would be more sanitary.It is a bit painful when the tread tightens,but the tags fall off in a few days.I also remove any I find when they are really small by shaving them off with a sharp razer.It's easier to stop them before they get big enough to get irritated.

Hey, I had one, and tried the floss method of tying and leaving for a week or so to fall off. Hurt so much, regreted it. Especially the first hour, and the next 3 days, i couldn't even work the first day, just laid there in pain. Couldn't take off the floss, so was stuck. Did after a week and a few days have some of it fall off, but still had some. Then tried the nail polish, a few times a day (and also after every bowel movement) Stings for a minute or so, then don't feel it. This over 3 weeks has shrunken it and can't even notice now. In the future I will ONLY do clear nail polish, and that's what I'd recomend.

I used the sticky part of a bandage, I cut it just large enough to cover the skin tag. Changed it every 3-4 days and eventually the skin tag came off with the bandage. It took about 3 weeks but this was a fairly large skin tag.

Hi another thing i did was tie a string and duct tape and it just fell off in 3 days i have removed 5 of them on my neck sooo happy and my self esteem is soaring i have one on my eyelid and am going to work on that one any suggestions on how to do that one i hate it
dear worried, you might be suprised if you try opening up to your mum. I'm not sure your story is real, but if it is, please don't attempt the floss method down there. your sixteen..just talk to mom and get a gyno it is a good time to do this. just tell the gyno and not your mom if your not comfortable. the gyno will see it anyway so I'm sure the gyno has seen it all...one day you'll look back and thank yourself ..it is not as serious unless you ignore it and make yourself uncomfortable for the rest of your teenage years. good luck

try taking garlic tabs they work wonders at shrinking skin tags and warts they will go away much much faster

I cut a cotton ball in 4ths. I dipped the cotton ball ijn apple cider vinegar and squeezed out the excess. I used cloth tape, the kind they use to put over a cotton ball when they take your blood, and it holds the damp cotton ball real well. Get it at your local drug store. I leave it on all night while I sleep. Then leave it alone all day and repeat the again at night.

My Barber (a female) took long,single strands of her hair and tied of 7 skin tags on my neck. You have to pull the hair or thread very tight (and it has to stay tight)All mine fell off in 2 days...never to return. Use the finest thread,hair,etc you can find and tie it TIGHT.My feeling is dental floss is too big to work quickly.
thank you for all the advice. I have been back and forth to the doctor. they first thought that I had warts. painful cream was used and nothing. now going to a specialist and says it s a skin tab. I have several small moles or skin tags on my face and one near my eye. They are pointy and I don't know what I should do to remove them. I had one removed from my right side by the doctor and it was very expensive. It was kind of large though and I need a cheaper way of removing them. I thinks this runs in my family!

I have skin tags on my neck, under my arms, and under my breasts. They are very annoying and it is embarrasing. I have tried tying thread around them and it worked a couple of times but most of the time the string comes off before the tag falls off. I am considering trying Dermisil to see if it works.

my sister did the apple vinager rememdy and know shes in ICU she was told by her husband and his friend who are Medics to put it on cotton balls and put her inside her. she got tss. is the way she did it the right way??? and does anyone know if she is able to sue or press charges against him for this? shes pregant too and he knowingly had them and never told her!!!!
