How to run Google ads on your blog
60An Easy Process
Ad Sense is Google's program for placing ads on blogs (and other sites). Blog owners can apply for the program, get their blog approved, and be paid when visitors click on the Google ads.
The first step is having the blog set up and running.
The next step is going to Google.com and clicking on their Ad Sense program. Some blog sites have the option of clikcing on the Google Ad Sense program right from the site. Regardless of how you get to Google's site, filling out Google's application for the program is the next step. The application asks for your information, information about your blog (what type of material is posted), and a few other questions. Once the application has been completed it is submitted, and applicants must wait for approval from Google. Before the application is approved Google needs to verify that site is one which is up, running, and functioning according to its requirements. (They won't approve a site that doesn't meet their requirements. An example of what they won't approve is a site that is difficult to find or reach.
Once the application has been approved the blog owner can then go this his/her new Google account and exercise any of the many options Googles offers. This includes a variety of options regarding the ads, including how ads will appear, colors, and types of ads.
Google offers a world of options for blog owners, so familiarizing oneself with all of them may be the most challenging thing for the uninitiated to do. There is, however, a wealth of guidance offered at Google's site.
