When I first saw this question I started thinking what the heck is this MMS because not everybody even know what a URL means. We search the web with a URL all the time, well who cares. So we don't bother with the meanings of tech language. I am 100% sure other hubbers might be scratching their heads too. We all know what is SMS you might have sent one from your cell phone or from PC in the past or received one from your friends or loved one’s or may be from your cell phone service provider for refilling your account usually with Pay as you go plan.

With MMS in short or Multimedia Messaging Service you can send longer text messages, graphics, photos, audio clips, video clips, remember size matters & there are limits same like when you send a file attachment there is several MB limits. You can do this with any new cell phone with Cameras and MMS composer most of them comes with this software already installed. You can send MMS to other cell phones, email accounts. You can also use your PC & a MMS software to send MMS to any cell phone.

New MMS phones also support SMIL, which allows various parts of an MMS message to be arranged into a small multimedia "slideshow" to be viewed on another SMIL-capable MMS phone.
